A personal and professional development plan helps to identify own strengths and weaknesses of academic skills through which an individual draws the measures and action plan in order to accomplish them within a limited span of time. Determine the value of short-term goals and address atleast 3 personal examples Short-term goals are determined by such goals that an individual prepares for a short span of time. Short-term goals that I have for myself are: ï‚·Enhancing my public speaking skills ï‚·Stress management ï‚·Working on my listening and written communication skills ï‚·Time management Determine the value of medium-term goals and address atleast 3 personal examples Medium-term goals are determined by such goals for a time being of 3 to 5 years. These are set by an individual for not too short time or too long time, in medium term goals an individual gets ample of time to work on his/her own skills and competencies prepare schedule plans and
measures to accomplish them. Unlike, short-term and long-term goals, medium-term goals play an important role to build an individual’s core competencies by preparing action plan with suffice time period. My medium-term goals are: I want to work as an intern as HR executives in a reputed firm. I want to do online certification courses pertaining to human resource management I want to build my portfolio by working on my academic skills. Determine the value of long-term goals and address atleast 3 personal examples Long-term goals are defined by such goals that an individual sees him/her in the future or it is what an individual actually wants to become in the future career. It requires consistency for working and learning on different skills and knowledge to become proficient and expert of what an individual actually desires of.
