In this competitive era, use of internet has become wider and broader due to which
competition in business sector has also increased at higher level. Integrated professional skills are
those which comprises of four languages which are reading, writing, speaking & listening. In this
digital age and trends, people are more dependent on internet (Simon, 2018). Main aim of this
report is to examine the impact of internet and understand the professional skills. Amazon,
multinational technology corporation, headquartered in U.K. The enterprise deals in variety of
products as well as services such as consumer electronics, apparels, technology etc. This report
comprises of comparison between positive & negative aspects of products & services online/
offline, privacy tools of using internet and online research/ communication skills.

Products as well as services both are essential to be focused by enterprise so that functions
& operations are carried out in most efficient manner. In relevance with Amazon, they deals in both
products & services at wider scale as they have larger portfolio. Internet has become an integral part
of business sector. Without using internet, it is not possible for these modern businesses to run their
activities in proper manner. These both are different from each other and with help of internet, they
are able to distribute both products & services globally.

accordingly choose price strategies. For example, Amazon is a provide discounts on festival

season like electronic items.
 Convenient way of shopping-: In context of organisation, provide facility for customer is
open 24/7 to solve the query of consumer. Customers does not need to wait long queue for
purchasing a product so easily purchasing at home or work place. Easily comparison-: Mostly physical stores, the sales representative not show product and
pressuring to purchase them but in online mode easily comparison are available on products.
It shows the whole range of items are available on the company website according need
and demand of customer (Shao, 2020).
Negative aspect of online products-:
 Delay in delivery-: In the relevance of company, not a proper manpower and management so
delay in shipment. Customer purchase a product so mention a specific time of delivery 2-3
days but it's not a proper arrangement of shipping.
 Fraudulent activity-: Organisation is a big drawback because in now days increasing cyber
crime activities and online payments is not much secure way. Customers must have to be
careful revealing their personal information.
 Lack feel of online shopping-: Physical Interaction is not possible on online business. It is
difficult to negotiate price and not touch-feel- try quality of product.
Offline products are those which can feel and touch so explain briefly in terms of positive and
negative aspects:

 Offline shopping benefits-: It includes opportunity of customers to show quality of product.
Customer easily establish a connection a retailers which can build loyalty. In offline mode
customer touch and try products. Similarly, they establish connection a customer through
various promotional activity. Replacement-: Online business platform in easier way to replaced the product because
company have replacement policy of 15 days.
Negative aspects of offline products-:
 Negotiation-: Customer purchase product through Amazon physical store so difficult to
bargain because both retailer & end user arises a conflict.
 Search and select-: End users face a difficult to purchase a product through offline mode
limited variety to choose which one. In relevance of chosen firm, due to less availability of
offline products they are unable to manage stock.

Positive aspect of online services-:
 Globally presence-: In relevance of company, wide reach of customer base because

provided a services globally. Easily track the taste and preferences of the customer
according to fulfil the needs and demands. Greater flexibility-: Online service active 24/7 and customer easily access through the
website. Amazon Service centre also working globally so easily solve the query of client.
Negative aspects of online services-:
 Security-: In the case of online service the security is big issue. Now days increase the cyber
crime and fraudulent activities so company also loose the customers. Such organisation need
to take step for advance technique in order of security (Nandal, 2020).
 Lack of brand loyalty-: Online business is a biggest drawback customer are not physically
connected so not make relationship with retailers and not a brand loyalty towards the
product.

Benefits of offline services-:
 Interaction with retailers-: In the case of offline services user directly connected with retailer
and have power to bargaining. In context of company, is positive aspect for physical stores
are available so customer easily purchase product.
Negatives of offline services-:
 Lack of flexibility-: Offline services open and close hours are not flexible. It specific time
to open and close. Amazon website difficult to access some time because internet traffic.

for an individual to be aware about their information and data which exist on internet. In context

proper manner (Chang, 2020). These applications contribute to society and people at deeper scale.
To deal with this situation, ample number of applications were developed by many countries. For
example- India, UK, Australia, America, Spain, etc. These tracked and traced apps were authorized
under government laws & regulations.
The developed applications were developed with main purpose of tracking or tracing corona
infected people so that other individual remain safe from them. So, applications of country Australia
and UK with their functions & operations are discussed below-
