Talent management is the important aspect of human capital management initiatives.
Human capital management roles is to hire right employees for the organization and managing
them effectively, developing strong management and doing performance management,
developing strong policies and rules for the workers and designing integrated system which can
helps them in making effective business decision. Talent management focus on some specific,
on day to day business activities overseen by HR teams. Foundation of talent management is
from hiring of a right people (Alziari, 2017). Talent management helps the manager in
performing their task effectively and motivating employees within a workplace to increase their
productivity. This is considered to be an important topic because in this researcher is going to
mentioned about talent management approaches and their challenges faced by company.
Investigator is doing this research by primary and secondary methods. Primary methods is used
by questionnaire survey and secondary method is used by literature review. This research is
important for the investigator to conduct because it will helps him in enhancing there skills and
knowledge. This topic is important by doing this research, investigator should be able to learn
about certain challenges faced by Morrison’s company and increase their knowledge and skills.
Research aim:
“To determine the impact of talent management on the role of human resource in the business
organization”. A case study on Morrison’s company.

According to the views of Prarthana Ghosh, 2021, Talent management is the constant
process that involves retaining of employees and motivates them, developing their skills to
enhance their skills and capabilities. The major focus of talent management is to create a
motivated workforce who will stay I the organisation for log run. This can be differ from
company to company. Talent management encompasses many responsibilities of Human
resource. An organisation needs to have a talent management strategy for the achievement of
optimum results and success of the organisation. Talent management is outlined as the
performing organised, strategic process of retaining employees for long run in the organisation
so that there can be a achievement of organisational goals. The process of talent management
includes identification of talent gaps and vacant positions, sources and hiring suitable

candidates for the company, growing them by providing training and developing sessions,
performance management and motivates them towards the achievements of goals and
objectives (What is Talent Management?, 2021). Talent management is just is process of
getting right people onboard and enabling them to work towards the achievement of goal.
Talent management is the most important assets of the company. It helps in maximise
the value of employees. Talent management process starts with planning, attracting, selecting,
developing, retaining and ends with transitioning. Starting with planning is like process in
which mangers sets the outcomes of the objective. It includes the identification of gaps like
human capital requirement, job description formulation and necessary sources that are to be
plan in advance by the managers of the company so that employees should work on those basis.
Next is attracting- in this mangers ensures that whether the requirements should be filled in the
organisation or form external sources. The external sources involves job portals, referrals etc.
This is the step in which mangers needs to attract candidates towards the job description. These
steps are to be followed by Morrisons company. Company is effectively using talent
management process in the organisation. this helps them in satisfying employees for long run
and achieving there personal and organisational goals (Anlesinya, Dartey-Baah and Amponsah-
Tawiah, 2019).
Importance of talent management on the role of Human resource
According to the views of Mona Momtazian, 2020, employees are the assets of the
company. As talent management helps the company in maximising value of employees. Talent
management strategies helps the company in attracting employees towards their brand and
retain them for long run. There are some of the importance of talent management on the role of
human resource. This is talent management helps in improving business performance as helps
in making positive employee relations and retain them for long run. It is more effective when it
combines three elements. These are positive employees experience, strategic HR team and rapid
talent allocation. Talent management allow company to stay competitive in the market as this
can be done thorough strong hiring process and developing talenting employees. This will helps
them in getting prepared to face risks and challenges (Talent Management and Why is It
Important?, 2020). Talent management helps the managers in driven new technologies and tools
that can enhance employees in increasing their skills and capabilities. Appropriate talent
management strategies helps the company in forming more productive team. When employees
feel valued then they will work with their full potential and results in achievement of personal
goals. It also brands a organisation as an employer.
This helps a candidates for future hires. Talent management helps in motivating a person or
employee which enhance their skills and knowledge. Morrisons is using effective talent
management strategies in the company which helps them in increasing motivation of the
employees and workers working in the business organisation. Managers help staff members in
increasing employees productivity and potential and this results in increasing profitability of the
company. Morrisons provide better training and development sessions to the workers working
