This research project examines the impact of high employee turnover on the productivity and profitability of Giant Hypermarket, a leading retail chain in Malaysia. The study utilizes a deductive approach and a survey strategy to collect data from 40 respondents. It explores the effectiveness of motivational theories, such as process and content theories, in retaining employees and improving efficiency levels. The project also examines the significance of employee retention, the ways Giant Hypermarket can improve its market share, and the ethical considerations involved in the research.
