1RESEARCH PAPER โ CONCLUSION This research is based on the hypothesis that survey methods like questionnaires are vital tools that need to be deployed by researchers of design methods, if they are to acquire all the preliminary information that is needed in order to ensure that the project at hand is completed with success. Theresults of this research were accumulated by analyzing the responses to the questions that were contained in the questionnaire. All of the questions that formed a part of this particular survey were those that helped me in gathering all the important data that I needed for the purpose of design, to understand the project more quickly and in a more comprehensive manner, to remove all types of misunderstandings that can arise in the course of doing the research and finally, of course, to ensure accuracy in terms of design. The quantitative method of using a questionnaire proved to be extremely powerful and useful when it came to gathering data. It also helped to save a lot of time in doing the research as well as the time of those who were kind enough to respond to this questionnaire, with therespondents comprising mostly of individual people as well as corporate people, all of whom were approached for answering this questionnaire at a time that was convenient for them. Atleast forty to fifty clients were approached with the questionnaire, all of whom professedtheirwillingnesstofillitoutatatimethatwasconvenientforthem. The questionnaires were duly filled out and sent to me within a week to ten days of having approached the clients inthe first place. The clients were not hostile and did not show any form of skepticism when they were approached with the questionnaire. They were mostly quite happy to oblige me in this respect and went all out to have the questionnaires completed and sent to me at their earliest convenience. Thequestionnaires were also filled out in conjunction with the staff, hence I am confident that the answers that I have received upon using this survey method
2RESEARCH PAPER โ CONCLUSION are those that are a hundred percent accurate. Also, since the fact that the questions are designed in such an honest, transparent and forthright manner, it is difficult for any person responding to such questions, client or not, to feign honest responses and give me the answers that I am seeking rather than what the actual scenario is. Not only were all the questions filled out in as transparent a manner as possible, but were also filled out entirely. Not a single client refrained from answering any of the questions that were contained in this survey. All the questions were answered and sent back to me, giving me the accurate primary research data that I needed in order to arrive at the necessary conclusions for this research project. I made it a point of course to include only the most relevant questions in this questionnaire to save my clients both time and hassle when they were answering it. From theanswers to the questions contained in the questionnaire it is possible for me to gauge that some of these were filled out by the staff as well and not just by the clients alone.I believe thequestions were comprehensive enough for the staff to understand them well enough and respond to them in much the same way as the clients did.The entire research was carried out over a time span of four weeks, and I did not have to wait for longer than ten days to get the questionnaires answered and sent back to me by the clients and their staff. It was therefore possible for me to deduce the research findings upon analyzing the answers contained in the questionnaires, thus hitting upon the conclusion that questionnaires do indeed constitute a most useful tool of research especially as far as primary data accumulation is concerned. It is a quantitative research method that can be implemented with ease and which saves a lot of time and energy for both the researcher as well as the people being interviewed as a part of the research process, while ensuring accuracy in terms of research findings at the same
3RESEARCH PAPER โ CONCLUSION time. Survey methods like a questionnaire can not only help a researcher to conclude a research project in the manner desired, but will also bring a whole lot of new perspectives to the research done while enabling the researcher to foster long lasting relationships with the respondents as well. There are many designers and researches of design who often ignore the value and the importance of a tool like a questionnaire, at the time of a briefing, with most of the data or information collected being design or will have to keep on calling up their clients to accumulate all the important data verbal rather than quantitative in nature. While this makes doing research work a pleasant and easy, problems tend to arise at the time of synthesizing and analyzing research findings. Once the process of research analysis actually begins, researchers will either end up conceiving the incorrect that is missing, which in turn is likely to leave a very bad impression on the clients. What the questionnaires essentially end up doing is to take into consideration all essential and relevant data or information such as the name of the company, the deadline for the project, the shapes, the colors and the usage of designs etc. Apart from serving as absolutely essential information for any researcher who is working on a design project, what the questionnaires end up doing is also helping designers to arrive at accurate quotes as well. In the case of this research, the goal of using questionnaires was to arrive at information that would support the hypothesis such as fifty percent client referrals, ninety percent design accuracy, sixty percent reduction in the time needed to create designs and ninety five percent client satisfaction.
