ABSTRACT
The main purpose of present research is to conduct investigation regarding the role of HR
department in order to enhance the productivity and performance of company. In this context,
there are various activities which are useful for completing present project within the systematic
manner. For this, the suitable objective and aim tends to be developed in regard of completing
the research in an appropriate way. Along with this, the Literature review has been done by
undertaking secondary sources of information regarding the topic and the research methodology
is being completed through questionnaire. Data analysis also been done with the help of
frequency distribution analysis. Conclusion and recommendations are also completed through
giving properly explaining the details regarding the overall activities in clear and transparent
way. In the section of recommendations, useful suggestions are being provided to enhance the
title of research. Hence, all the activities are being done in an appropriate way regarding the
achievement of every objective in an effective way.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Overview of the topic
Human resource management depict the overall process which is helpful for company in
regarding of recruiting talented and skilled candidates within an organisation with the help of
selection and recruitment. In this context, human represent the skilled and talented manpower in
company, resources represent the availability of products and resources and management depict
how effectively the suitable products can be used within an organisation to fulfil their objectives
(Macke and Genari, 2019). Hence, the HRM depict the accurate application of the skilled
manpower and proper use of human resources within the company.
For this, there are various roles which are being played by the human resources of an
organisation undertaking the employee relations, managing rewards, recruitment and selection,
employment laws, health and safety, staff training and development and so on. Hence, all the
major roles of human resources are useful for an organisation in order to enhance their overall
growth and success at the national and global level (Singh and Kassar, 2019). In this, context, the
HR management tends to undertake various functions like planning, directing, controlling and
organising as it is useful to achieve organisational, individual and social objectives. Furthermore,
the HR department is important in regard of having suitable production of services and also tends
to put prominent efforts regarding the suitable production. For this, every company has desire to
have skilled and talented workforce in order to make their organisation more competent and best.
Background of the company
The present report is based on Hilton London Metropole which is a well reputed hotel in
UK as this hotel has luxurious facilities including various amenities such as, dining area,
bedrooms, fitness centre, Wi-Fi and so on. In this, all the are neat and clean with proper hygiene
and luxury bathrooms with well managed toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. Human resources of
Hilton London Metropole tends to play various roles with the suitable objective of enhancing the
overall growth of business. In regard of this, the roles are being acquired by the workforce in
order to enhance employee efficiency, development of individuals, enhance employee
satisfaction, analyse employee turnover, long term growth and sustainability and identify future
needs of manpower. Hence, the human resource management in the company is useful in order
to enhance the growth and success of company.

The main reason to select suitable topic is to identify the impact of human resources
management over growth and success of hotel. For this, the present research is essential at the
both personal and professional level as by considering the personal level, this research is useful
by the researcher to improve the suitable skills of research like communication, time
management, collection of data and many more. In regard of this, it is also helpful for the
researcher as it can easily undertake current research in an effective and systematic manner.
Moreover, at the professional level, this investigation is useful in order to search for the best job
at the human resources within the hospitality sector. Hence, the present research is useful at both
the personal and professional level.
Approach and Methodology
To carry out the present research, quantitative research, deductive approach, questionnaire
etc. approaches and methodologies are considered that will be helpful in order to collect suitable
information regarding the topic. For this, deductive and quantitative approach is helpful to
analyse and collect details in numeric way.
