2018). Thus, it is significant for HR manager of company is to provide proper guidance and
training programs to make employee productive and efficient for attainment of their set goals and
objectives in stipulated time frame. In addition to this, talent management is also may assist in
reducing employee turnover of company by retaining them for longer period of time. Current
research is based on Marriott hotel, is one of the famous American multinational diversified
company that operate their business around the world. Company also manage and franchise a
broad portfolio of hotels in order to provide quality services to large number of customers. Along
with this, company also focus on managing their talent to make entire activities of company

managing talent in which workers are develop their skills and knowledge as per their specified
roles and responsibilities. This will directly contribute in increasing the productivity level of
company and at the same time also reduce the employee turnover. Along with this, talent
management is also playing a significant role in reducing employee turnover by motivating as
well as influencing workers to improve their overall performance level. For attaining the same,

I am grateful to take opportunity to carried out an investigation on the basis of important of talent
management in reducing the employee turnover of the company. As a researcher, I feel glad
because this project gave me lots of assistance and knowledge that how to gather data and
execute research activities. Conducting a research is always a great deal because it helps in
enhancing the existing knowledge and provide with an opportunity to explore the unexplored
things. In context with this research, although I was aware about talent management and its
related concepts, but indulging deep into this research enhanced my knowledge. For example; it
provided me with various strategies that can be used by the company for attracting better talents
towards the organisation. In this research, I have used various methods and techniques to gather
reliable data and information. Along with this, I used primary method of data collection in which
structured questionnaire is developed to gather first hand information from selected respondents.
At the time of carried out research activities, I have face various issues and obstacles that put
negative impact over the end results of the investigation. In this, issues are related with
insufficient time and cost through which I have face issue at the time of collecting information
on the basis of research topic. In order to manage all these issues, I have developed Gantt chart
that includes various activities that performed in undertaking research. With the help of this, I
have easily complete entire research activities in an effective manner.
Alternative methodology
In addition to this, as an alternative research methodology, interview is considered as an
effective method for collecting data about the research questions. Interview, mostly includes one-
on-one conversation help in getting an overview about the ideas and thoughts possessed by an
individual. The process of interview, opens a board area of discussion where each and every
question can be analysed through in-depth processes. In this, investigator asked various questions
from the selected respondents in order to understand their view points about the research topic.

However, interview was my alternative option and the main reason was because of the time
taken by the process. Along with this, it assists researcher in explaining, better understanding,
and exploring the perspectives, behaviour, emotions, phenomena, and so on of research subjects.
Survey questionnaire are typically open-ended in order to elicit detailed information. One of the
main advantages of using this method is that it is cost effective and also less time consuming. It
allows interviewers to be more flexible. The discussion receives a higher response rate than
postal questions, and persons who are unable to read or write also can respond to questions. As a
researcher I have improved my research skills that helped me in undertaking future research
along with authentic information about research topic. Taking less time for completing future
research is an opportunity for me that provide assistance in drawing a valid conclusion at the end
of the study.

Conclusion
From the above mentioned the researcher can be summarised at the talent management
plays an important role where it attract potential employees to contribute the skills and
knowledge for better level of work experience. Mainly the proper management of talent is also
beneficial to reducing the high employee turnover by turning workforce for longer period of
time. It is the main advantage of manager workforce is to develop a positive and healthy working
environment where employees can generate best efforts for attend this target and stipulated time

compensation and rewards, other benefits and many more. These are support in improving
employees performance and efficiency level at working area. With the help of this, company
improve their competitive brand image and at the same time also reduce high employee turnover.
In addition to this, manager needs to focus on developing some area within their job roles as they
tries to keep their positive behaviour with employees, always ready to solve employees problem,
focus on managing positive relationship with workers. By this manager can easily make
employees more productive and able to attain their all the predetermined goals and sustain within
the company for longer period of time.
