Introduction
An understanding has been developed that talent management is an effective and vital
business management process which ensures attraction and retention of high experienced and
talented candidates which are crucial for success of a firm (Zoltners and et. al., 2021). Thus, it
has become vital and important for all multinational to have best practices for managing talent at
global level to ensure higher success and improved competitive edge. So, current study has been
undertaken on Morrisons which is fourth largest chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom,
and is headquartered in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England to analysis about the best practices
used by multinational organisation for managing talent within a workplace.

What are the effectiveness of talent management within a workplace of Morrisons?
What are the basic practice of talent management used by Morrisons?
What are the major challenges faced by Morrisons while managing talent within a
workplace?
Research Aim and Objectives
Research Aim
Main aim of this research project is “To identify the best practices used by multinational
organisation for managing talent within a workplace of an organisation: A study on Morrisons.
Research objectives:
To increase basic understudying about the effectiveness of talent management within
a workplace of Morrisons.
To identify the basic practise of talent management used by Morrisons
To ascertain to the challenges faced by Morrisons while managing talent within a
workplace.

Limitation of the study
Lack of time and accessibility to limited resources is the main limitation associated with
current study. Along with meeting the ethical consideration to ensure reliability and authenticity
of facts is also a limitation.
Literature Review
This section comprises of review and systematic analysis of secondary form of information
based on specific topic which ensures base and framework for further investigation (Utomo,
Indiyati and Ramantoko, 2021).
To increase basic understudying about the effectiveness of talent management within a
workplace of Morrisons.
As per the information provided by the Kataria, P., 2021, it has been analysed that the
concept of talent management focus on effectively retaining and developing talented candidates
as it leads significant positive impact on the human resource by the way of enhancing the job
satisfaction and motivation level along with higher commitment and trust level in employees
which improve their performance and efficiency level. Some other key effectiveness and
importance of talent management are provided as below:
Higher business performance- Talent management ensures and leads to a more competent
and skilled workforce that effectively contribute in higher business performance. Along with
this, talent management also effective for Morrisons as it reduces the issue of high employee
turnover thus, saves the recruitment and selection cost of the organisation along with more
experienced and high performing employee to support better performance (Xu and Shen, 2021).
Improved competitive edge- Implication of talent management concept within Morrisons
supports higher creativity and innovation level at workplace as it helps in increasing the
motivation and confidence level of employees which supports and leads to higher competitive
edge in business environment (Bresciani and et. al., 2021).
To identify the basic practise of talent management used by Morrisons
As per the view point of Manoharan, A., Madera, J.M. and Singal, M., 2021, many basic
practises of talent management are there which can be adopted and used by the Morrisons which
includes regular training programmes, rewards and incentives, employee engagement, effective
