Aims and objectives
Aim-
The aim of this study is to analyse and measure the influence of digital technology mostly
on daily activities to organizations. A study on Big Easy Restaurants in London.
Objectives-
To analyse how business use digital technologies in their daily activities
To examine how Big easy/s would incorporate smart technologies like laptops, phones,
computers and others for workers.
To evaluate how company would design Twitter account, Facebook page, an informative
website, YouTube channel and take up other activities that contribute towards sales
growth.
Research questions
How firms use digital technologies in their daily actions?
How firm would incorporate smart technologies for workers?
How well company would design YouTube channel, Twitter account, Facebook Page, an
informative website to increase sales.
Background
Digital technologies refer to as electronic tools, resources, devices and system that
generate, process and store data effectively (Genova, 2019). It includes all kinds of electronic
applications and equipments that use info in sort of numeric code. This data is usually in binary
code that represented by strings of only tow numeric characters. Well known examples of digital
technologies include social media, mobile phones and multimedia. In simple words, it is an
umbrella term for computer based solutions and products, it may refer to using new applications
or algorithms to solve a issue. In order to achieve business success, growth, productivity,
efficiency and profitability, companies can use digital technologies that will help to improve
their communication procedure, collaboration and content management access to analytics
information and social networking. Digital technologies is all about essentially breakdown of
content, forms and signal of communication between receiving and creating device through use
of string of data knows as binary code.

The current report is based on Big Easy, it is a restaurant in UK, successfully operating
their business with skilled and talented applicants. The company is located in heart of London's
Covent garden. They use different types of applications and electronic system in order to build
good relationship with their consumers.
This study describe research on the impact of digital technologies on organization
profitability. Furthermore, this report include data analysis that are used to interpreting
information related to topic to derive insights. The study highlights research methodologies that
are used while conducting research study in systematic and appropriate manner, so that other
learner will use in making their report. In this research study, procedures and plan required to
incorporate digital technologies into organization was discussed.
Rationale
The level of competition among existing companies is high, it creative competitive
environment within specific market, that affect organizations market positions as well as growth.
It is very important for firms to sustain in sector by making use of different digital technologies
available in market. Digital technologies is considered as the best method will use to generate
profit that in turn is outlined as adequacy of profit in meeting off business short term goals. The
reason for preparing this research study is to analyse the use of digital technologies within Big
Easy firm. The another reason for conducting this research is to identify the benefits company
will gain while using digital technologies.
Significance
Digital technologies are very essential to use in competitive environment as it help to
increase brand awareness in market and also help to improve communication and consumer
experience, it just not benefits organization but also be important for further success. Digital
technologies are rapidly evolving and changing, which in turn maximize competition and need
for firm to innovate quickly. By conducting research about this topic, researcher will help to
gather in depth info about its significance in business. This study is beneficial in term of business
and academic purpose.

The structure of research or dissertation will contain basic components like, introduction,
literature review, title page, mythologies and conclusion. To avoid inconveniences, it is written
accordant to appropriate guidelines. Research project comprises five chapters mentioned below:

Introduction is the first chapter, it is known as preface of dissertation, it provides readers
the main idea about research topic and how it will be handled later in work. It caters brief
summary in first part of study to deliver a more complicated layout later. Introduction will lead
readers smoothly and effectively into next paragraphs.
Chapter-2
Literature Review is the second chapter of research project, it an obligatory part of
substantive investigation theme. It presents the brief examination of literature on research topic,
literature review also serves purpose of giving reader legitimate reason to explore research,
stating that investigation is original. In simple words, review is created to fill gap in choice of
literature and provide full list of sources that will informative and appropriate to current research.

This chapter outlines particular methods chosen by researcher to investigate study topic.
Research chapter 3 is about methodologies, that researcher will use according to type of their
study, it is important to cater enough data so that an investigator could replicate study.
Chapter-4
Data analysis is the fourth chapter, in which results and research findings was described

thought on main theme and summarized point made in argument. This part give indication as to
where further research on subject discussed might lead. It concisely concluded main research

result and mostly help companies to generate more leads. It is quite beneficial in term of business
as it helps to improve and speed up procedure of communication to workers and consumers as
well. By using technologies in business, management effectively stay connected with their staff,
it is beneficial for workers as they can keep in touch with other team members at workplace
through different ways such as email. Eisenträger, Adler and Fischer, (2019) elucidated that
technologies increase collaboration as workers can communicate and connect no matter where
they are with others, this help in encouraging team work, bonding between employees and
mutual understanding. It also contributes information management activity in group, that shows
however that company can really improve knowledge of staff members by investing cautiously
in digital technologies. Organizations need to digitally transform their businesses to increase
productivity, enable growth and engage consumers. There are many benefits with digital
technologies, firm will gain to increase profitability.
According to Nicholas and Sacco, (2018) digital technologies makes it easy for
companies to stay in touch with consumers, stakeholders, shareholders and employees, even
when they are in another part of the world. For example, Firm by using words, audio, video and
exchange other media easily communicate. Number of applications, websites and software
systems has been designed to help business to socialize. There are many positive and benefits
that come from using digital technologies by companies in their daily activities. As per view of
O'Rourke, (2019) communication is one of the most important part of business success,
communication or interaction with employees or other people have never been so easy, mobile,
chat and email are few ways that makes it smooth to contact third person. Technology in
business plat vital role as it helps to provide many options for management to reach out and
obtain in touch with staff and target consumers. It also permits them to offer more mediums for
taking good care of clients services problems. Organization take benefits of improved

communication and technology by providing their workers chance to work remote. Cao, Wu and
Robertazzi, (2019) stated that work processor is one of the best computer system or device that
cater for input, output text and editing formatting. It changes the whole business world, with this
device management make changes in their marketing context, that help to gain attention of
consumers. Word processors contain software to automatically correct errors and determine

make online payments.
On the other side digital technology along with positive affect consist with some
negative side that impact on business. Implementation of advanced and new technologies and
used in day to day activities is bitten expensive because it includes initial purchasing costs and
training expenses.

have multiple office, so technology like email, Skype and Slack help keep groups connected. It
makes organization able to decrease chances of miscommunication, that become very costly in

term of time and money. It helps to connect workers from all over the world, provide
management chance to give clear directions through video conferencing and online meetings.

Digital or smart technologies such as mobile phone, laptop and computer are used within
companies for different purpose along with communication. It is used to monitor the
performance and practices of staff. According to Sprague, (2018) employee monitoring permits
business to track workers activities and monitor their engagement with workplace related work.
Many organizations use it on computer will help to measure staff productivity, assure security,
track attendance and collect proof of working hours. With the modern technologies,
organizations will be able to monitor almost 100% of staff activity including, app and internet
usage, email, video surveillance and phone use. Monitoring of existing and new workers by
using computer, company gain benefits as it help to boost employees productivity, save time,
manager office properly, reduces trust level and save huge amount of money.
