assist in attaining opportunities in near future related to the same.

Concept and role of talent management
As per the opinion of Branson, 2018, it has been said that there are ample number of functions
which needs to be done by HR manager in an organisation so that they can create positive
atmosphere and attain goals and objectives of the company in an effective manner. Talent
management define as a company’s commitment in order to hire, recruit, develop as well as
retain talented staff members within the workplace. It is a procedure of examining skills,
knowledge and capabilities of employees and manages them so that the goals and objectives of
the company can be attained. Therefore, it has been concluded that, talent management is one of
the most beneficial and useful term mainly adopted by each and every HR manager. This is an
ongoing, continuous and systematic process with the help of which organisation can easily retain
their skilled and talented staff members for a longer period of time. Moreover, it has been also
analysed that all goals and objectives are to be achieved properly. This is done by using
considering the appropriate applications of talent management. Also, decision making is to be
done in proper manner during the process of TM.
Significance of talent management in the overall performance
On the basis of views of Landy and Conte, 2016 it has been said that by adopting or
implementing talent management at the workplace, human resources resource manager will be

able to create positive working environment by retaining, hiring and recruiting new talent at the
competitive environment. It is very important for each and every organization to retain their
talented staff members for a longer period of time so that they can effectively produce favourable
outcomes and develop strong reputation at the competitive marketplace. Talent management is a
continuous and systematic process with the help of which human resource manager of a business
entity can easily perform their work at the organization and retain skilled and talented staff
members for longer duration.
Benefits gain by hospitality sector by managing talent in an effective manner at workplace
On the basis of view point of Clark, 2017, it has been said that talent management includes
various challenges along with benefits and advantages. By implementing talent management
practices at the workplace in an effective manner, it has been concluded that managers get
various benefits which leads towards the attainment of organizational goals and objectives in an
appropriate manner. Some of the benefits gain by hospitality industry by effectively managing
talent at their workplace are going to be discussed as follows:
 Employee motivation- With the assistance of effective implementation of talent
management, managers of the organisation motivate their staff members on a regular
basis. It is very essential for employees to feel motivated and encouraged so that they can
produce high quality products and services in an effective manner.
 Attract talent- Another benefit is that effective implementation of talent management
strategies can easily attract large number of new candidates towards the organization.
Along with this, it has also been said that by managing talent at workplace in an effective
manner managers will be able to create awareness at the marketplace which attracts large
number of people towards the company.

Research methodology define as an essential framework which help a researcher to conduct the
whole investigation in an effective and appropriate manner. Some of the methods and tools are
going to be discussed as follows:
Research philosophy- It refers to the set of belief and nature of an investigator which is
usually carried out while performing the whole research in a positive manner. Two types of
research philosophy are there which is positivism & interpretivism. In reference to the present
investigation, interpretivism has been chosen by the researcher with the aim of examining all
collected information which is in the form of quantitative method.
Research method- Qualitative as well as quantitative are two types of research methods
commonly used by each and every investigator so that the whole investigation is concluded in a
positive way. In relation to the current investigation, quantitative research method are used by
researcher for examining the information and data with numeracy. This is a method which helps
in producing positive results with accuracy in an effective manner.
Research approach- In reference to research approach there are two main kind of approaches
such as inductive as well as deductive approach. From this, deductive research approach is
chosen by the researcher for examining numerical information so that favorable outcomes will be
produced by them.
Source of data- There are two main types of data collection methods which includes
primary as well as secondary method with the help of which required data will be collected. In
relation to the current investigation, both primary and secondary data collection method are used
by researcher for collecting information. In reference to primary data, questionnaire is the
approach adopted by investigator and in relation to secondary method, articles, different books,
various published sources, journals adopted by the investigators.
Sample method: Under the probability sampling, researcher adopt random sampling
methodology with the help of which they select sample size. For the present research, 30
respondents are chosen by the investigator.
