To determine the need of implementing innovative ways at workplace for achieving strategic
approach to talent management.

This report is based on the analysing requirement of new and innovative ways of working to achieve
strategic approach to talent management within service industry. Main reason for choosing this
project is that talent management is my interest area and I want to develop my skill and knowledge
within this area. As it can be said that, talent management is my personal interest area and this
research will help me in enhancing my skills as well as knowledge related to the same topic. In future
it will help me in working as talent manager within service industry because with the assistance of
this research I will be able to gain detail knowledge in relation of talent management which assist me
in getting better future opportunities.

Research methodology is the specific technique or procedure which adopted within research
procedure for collecting, assembling as well as evaluating data. In addition to this, respective section
of research defines tools which utilise for gathering relevant information within particular research
study. In research methodology section research onion will conducted. Below mention are different
layers of research onions :-
Research Philosophy – Investigator will use positivism research philosophy because it will help them in gaining reliable
and authentic data as well as information related to new and innovative ways related to strategic talent management
approaches. Moreover, it also help in proper analysing of gathered information in suitable manner.
Research Approaches – Deductive research approach will use by research for conduct present investigation because it is
based on quantitative method as well as also provide in-depth understanding related to selected research topic.
Research choice – Quantitative method has been selected because it is based in facts as well as help in gathering

Research strategy – As an research strategy questionnaire will be use by investigator because it will help the in
gathering appropriate information in effective manner.
Time Horizon – In conducting this research cross sectional time horizon will be utilise because with the assistance of
this investigator will get specific time period as per the se of activities.
Data collection methods – There are two type of data collection method i.e., primary and secondary data collection
method. For conducting this research both method will utilise such as primary for questionnaire and secondary for
literature review section.
Sampling – For conducting this research random data sampling method will be utilise i.e., 30. For conducting this
research selected respondents are managers of company because they have proper understanding related to talent
management in better manner.

According to the view point of Prarthana Ghosh it has been determine that, talent management is
defined as methodically organized as well as strategic procedure of getting suitable talent onboard
and assist them in growing their optimal capabilities by keeping objectives of business firm in mind.
In addition to this, within continuous changing environment strategic management is most important.
Moreover, global trends within human capital management have led to renaissance of the work-
worker-workplace equation.

It is important for an organisation to implement strategies related to talent management. So that
business firm will hire candidates with suitable talent which help them in accomplishing their goals
and objectives. Through talented staff members companies will able to conduct their daily basis
