To investigate the impact of managing cultural diversity over the brand image of company. A
case on ALDI.

What kind of challenges faced by ALDI while managing diversity at working environment?

The main purpose of undertaking this study is to analyse the actual impact of managing diverse culture
and how it affects the organizational image at market place. Mainly, company include diverse
workforce to operate their functional activities in an effective manner. Along with this, researcher also
carry out this research for their personal and professional interest in order to enhance their skills and
knowledge about the particular project and activities as well. With the help of this, investigator can
easily determine the ways that help them in attaining positive and reliable outcomes at the end of the
research.

According to Farzin and Fattahi, (2018), with the rise of internationalization, cultural workplace
diversity has developed as a phenomenon. “multiculturalism would be when dissimilarities in race,
ethnicity, language, nationality, religion, Gender identity is defined in a society. It put their huge
impact over the business organization and its workers as well. If company focus on managing cultural
diversity at working area then employees can easily build positive relation with others and also tries to
enhance their involvement in entire business activities. With the help of this, company can easily
enhance their positive brand image by developing their productivity. One of the main advantages of
managing workplace diversity is that it may eliminate the possibilities of increasing discrimination at
working area and promote equality also.

According to Scholtz and Kieviet, (2018), it is crucial for every business organization operate their
business at global level to manage diversity at working area with the aim of building positive and
healthy working environment. In this employee give their best efforts for accomplishing their all the set
goals and objectives in an effective manner. Thus, it is one of the significant responsibilities of
manager to implement various alternative ways to manage diverse workforce such as proper training
and development activities, spreading equality at working area, influence staff members to perform in a
team and many more. All these can be beneficial in developing positive work environment and at the
same time also develop positive performance at market place.

According to Syed and Ozbilgin, (2019), managing diversity is not an easy task for business
organization when a firm operate their business at global level then they face issue of diversity as it
includes diverse workforce who are belongs to different culture and nationality as well. This is the
reason that some time it creates issues at working area by increasing conflict among staff members,
reduce productivity level, lack of employee’s involvement within the decision-making activities,
improper leadership and many more. These are effect organizational activities and employee’s
performance in negative manner. This is the reason that manager is responsible for analysing the same
while managing cultural diversity so that they can easily maintain equality and diversity at working
area.

It is crucial section that provide framework to undertake the research activities in a systematic manner.
It includes various method and techniques implement by researcher to collect reliable data on the basis
of selected topic and area.
Research philosophy- In research, there are two type of philosophy i.e. Positivism and interpretivism.
For this positivism research philosophy will be implement as it helps in determining proper justification
about the research and its topic as well.
