For these new stores, the firm will need around 18000 new employees including600 new store managers by 2022. In this regards, Aldi will require proper recruitment plan,selection strategies and induction and training program for these new employees. Concerning thescenario of the case, the main purpose of this essay is to explore the resourcing methods Aldishould adopt to recruit such high number of employees for its new stores. In addition to this,selection processes that should be adopted by the company will be discussed along with theirpotential benefits and drawbacks (About Us, n.d). Over the last decades, numerous studies have shown that there is a positive relation amidhigh efficiency and human resource management policies and practices and performance of theorganization. Because of this, HRM is seemed as a major factor that helps in differentiating thesuccess and failure of the organization in this current world. This pertains to the fact that itconsists how to manage the people working for the firm and whose contribution and role willeventually help the firm in achieving the desired goals and objectives. There are different aspectsof HRM such as performance, resourcing, developing and many more. However, resourcing isthe major factor in human resource management that involves planning, recruiting, inducting aswell as bringing a new staff up to that standard which is required to become a fully effectiveworker (Aghazadeh, 2003).
