1.1 The scope of the hospitality industry refers to the range of businesses that provide services and facilities in UK. The hospitality economy is one of the field in the country which has continuous growth prospect in job. This industry of hospitality has been a great source for generating employment in the country. In employment term , restaurant are easily the largest sector, closely followed by a pubs , bars and club with the hotel sector. It is estimated that 400000 jobs in hotel and related services. It have 26m jobs in restaurant, 75000 contracts catering and in hour catering job, 20000 job in event management (Simons, Vermeulen and Knoben,2016).Thisindustrydiversifiedinmanyfieldsuchashotel/lodging,front offices,travel agencies,house keeping, marketing &sales, restaurant and bar. From one survey it is found that visitors spent close to 12 billion pounds of a total value of 76 billion pounds which was the total amount of tourism. 1.2 HotelTravel and tourism InMarriotthotel,itfollowstheline organizationalstructure.Inthisthereare vertical relationship between different level in the firm. Association of catering excellence-It is lively, innovation organisation that encourage caterers and associates from all sectors of the contract catering industry to network face to face, exchange ideas, socialise and generally keep in touch. Its membership includes a cross section of manager, chefs , consultants, suppliers etc (Solnet,Kraljand Baum, 2015). British institute of inn keeping-It is the professional body for licensed trade and has 13000 members, including staff, managers, licensees and tenants (Falk,2016). Its mission is to help those working in pub and bars, providing support to those starting in the industry. it has qualifications and mentoring schemed to help individual progress , support services to help pub manager. 3.1Operational issue in hospitality-The major issue in hospitality industry is technology, it may face the difficulty of providing comprehensive, expert technical support at the individualproperty level for the multiple system used there. There may be raise the complexity of the hotel environment, which historically has required many different system to interact with each other (Wong and Wickham, 2015).Managerial issue in hospitality-Labour and skill shortage is the major problem in hotel sectors. In hospitality industry there are need for a well qualified workers which represent the industry reputation. Worker satisfaction and a reputation for long hour and low pay are cited as contributing factor.Legislative issue-Travel permit restrictions is major legislative issue in the hospitality industry.As international travel has become more available and less expensive , particularly during last two decades, the ability to travel unhindered from country to countryhasalmostevolvedasaninherentrightofbusinessandleisuretravel (.Kandampully,Zhang and Bilgihan, 2015). 4

It consists of broad category of fields within the service industry that lodging , restaurants,eventplanning,themeparks,transportation,cruiselineetc.Inpresenttime, hospitality have various unit like restaurant, hotel, parkthat consist ofgroup such as human resources, marketing, direct operations, maintenance etc. this industry divided into many sectors like accommodation, gaming, food and beverage, entertainment and tourism sectors (Radojevic, Stanisic and Stanic,2015). The function of hospitality is to build the relationship and promote exchange of goods and services. From one survey it is found that visitors spent close to 12 billion pounds of a total value of 76 billion pounds which was the total amount of tourism. 4.1 As we know that hospitality industry is growing continuously in the UK. There are huge area covered by budget hotel, over half of the hotel in the UK development pipelines budget properties so that travellers can easily afford the budget hotel. Budget hotels are available at reasonable cost and they arepopular with operator as they are cheaper to build and run. Company expand their business in serviced department and guest houses also. In the present trend, hotel provide the online booking facility to its customers so that they can easily access to the popular and convenient hotel. Hospitality growing very fast with the help of packages facilities and internet booking (Solnet,Kralj, and Baum, 2015). 4.2 The positive impact of hospitality industry is employment because through this industry, many people can be able to get the employment in the hotel (Wu,and Liao,2016). another impact of development in this sector is that customer can easily get the right information about hotel and tourism through internet. By online booking of hotel and tourism , this sector is popular very fast in the country, customer can also provide the feedback about their services through internet. And negative impact is that company can change their services according to customer demand and needs. This is very challenging task for organisation to manage the services according to the market condition. 5
