INTRODUCTIONLeaders and manager in an organisation has significant role to place in driving a companytowards achievement of success and growth. There are several types of leadership styles whichare adopted by the leaders for directing , controlling , guiding people at workplace. Leadershipstyle utilised by leaders has great as well as significant influence the behaviour as well asperformance of followers. It is very much important for leaders to select the leadership styles onconsidering the need of situation and demand of subordinates. As this factors can have greatimpact on the relationship between leaders and employees. Sometimes rude behaviour or attitudeof leaders leads to the conflict which has negative effect on the business performance.The present report includes the case analysis of firm an operating in tourism industry andfacing the several issues due to ineffective leadership.TASK 11. Problems in the case studyIt has been analysed from the given case study that there are seven holiday destinationsand a team of three isdedicated to each destination. The team of Adam, Sara and Jane are consistently the bestperformingteam. Earlier all the teams were performing good as they were satisfied with their jobs andreward system designed by human resource manager in an organisation. There has been increasein conflicts at workplace which has given rise to absent ism which has negative impact on theproductivity as well as routine functioning of firm. There are various problems has been faced bycompany operating in tourism industry. Some instances of issues faced by an organisationinclude the decision taken by the top level management regarding changing the incentiveschemes. This has led to some animosity between the team as others feel these three have anunfair advantage because of their holiday destination (Doh and Quigley, 2014). Amendments inthe incentive policies has lead to the high level of dissatisfaction in employees working insales department. As the standards for gaining the standards were too high which wasimpossible for workers to achieve. Many of the staff members in an organisation has complaintabout the working environment in an enterprise , as this factor has significant impact on theirperformance at workplace (Lopez and Ensari,2014)
