This research project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of health and education intervention for smoking prevention in adults of UK. It includes background and rationale, methodology, results, critical appraisal, emerging themes, and recommendations. The research is based on a narrative literature review about smoking and its impact on public health. The study is divided into six chapters, and the research questions are framed using the PICO framework. The methodology includes the use of secondary sources of information, and the data is collected from PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The study concludes with recommendations for effective health and education interventions to prevent smoking in adults of UK.
