INTRODUCTION
The report aims to analyze the impact of social cognitive theory in the context of applying for
job applications in get hired by an organization. These theories have multiple perceptions and
implication on developing own skills and representing for a business. The social cognitive
theories are mainly used in the field of education communication and psychology. This theory
refers to observing others reaction and experience is by applying critical factors in knowing the
person, environment and the behaviour (Peréa, Padilla-Martínez, and Coll, 2018). This theory is
mainly applicable for a person's past experience whether on the basis of behaviour all its attitude.
There for this report is going to develop an essay on how the social cognitive theory will impact
on a person’s ability for job applications.

Social cognitive theories of reception of analyzing a person's behaviour and explore its reciprocal
intention. It is believed that learning can be take place in the social context where the internal
and external factors impact such as personal environment and behaviour (Gomez, and Taylor,
2018). This theory states that a person acquire behaviour in a unique way by taking it past
experience is, personal interaction and engages in the behaviour with others. There are many
elements which construct the self efficacy of social cognitive theory that are determination
behaviour capability, observational learning reinforcement and expectations. Therefore, the
cognitive theory will have some exceptions that show the theory may change as per the
environment and leads to impact on the dynamic need of person behaviour and environment. The
cognitive theory invoice the factor of actions and health behaviour of a person for example when
an individual have learnt skill or knowledge by observing others behaviour will be more skilful
and experienced as the individual have saw it by happening in practical situation (Simionescu,
2018). The social cognitive theory requires assumptions and observations that help in achieving
personal aims and goals. The stereotypes are those groups of individuals who have different
characteristics and other set of belief where the schemas people are apply on individuals is,. The

people stay your types are those who are naturally categorized into a group of people which
make 8 general in all the ways which makes them easier to observe where as the individuals are a
different personalities who have their own perceptions and believes which cannot be observe as
per the social logical theories. But the stereotype tends to be rigid and these are person who can
adjust in dynamic environment.
In job applications and personnel selection social cognition theories are applied. For
example there are two type of social cognition theory such as stereotypes and
schemas.Stereotypes are widely held beliefs or prejudices regarding specific populations. One of
the numerous issues with stereotypes is that even if they are true in some circumstances, they are
not true in all. Schemas basically understands units that can be classed hierarchically and webbed
into complicated interactions with one another. In simple schemas is a pattern of behaviour that
organized information into categories. Schemas are commonly used in psychology. Schemas are
understanding of a culture and stereotype is a member of a culture. In a job application or
personnel selection these two factors plays an important role. To understand this we can take a
example of job application. In a job application if a stereotype people apply then the interviewer
can see that that person only believe and stick to a information whether its true or not. Just like
the people who believes that earth is flat, if any one tries to explain that person with facts and
scientific research or proofs, stereotype never agree on that information and sticks to his own
myths. In the other hand schemas is behaviour which collects information in categories and
organized it (El-Ouali, and Mouhadjer, 2019). This type of people is more likely to understand
things in a complete way with its pros and cons. In a job application there are much chances of
schemas to get selected then a stereotype because a stereotype only stick to a particular
information whether it’s true or not
The stereotype people can have a negative impact on their workplace and selection at the
job rule. The people who are stereotypes can get affects through negative results criticism or
continuous pressure which might impact on their productivity and motivation. These kinds of
people could not work under the pressure and they are the one who wants to work really. They
are mainly work for a toxic environment but want to be specific and game changer for giving
best results. In the role of personal selection and job application, these people tend to show their
honest weakness and strength in front of the interview. Behaviour change through other changing

rule and equity and what people think and how it could be fair. This is stereotype people
understand all others perception by let them be a part of their group. As per the social cognitive
theory the stereotype people make their all the decisions through analysing others suggestion
also as they give chance to represent themselves (Taumoepeau, 2019). In simple words they can
be said as a good listener at workplace level. They have over simplified belief and assumptions
about group is and discrimination which can be a part of serious discussion for personal selection
and job application. The social security and decisions are a part of everyone's life which people
take decisions about. In day to day life routine, people make a lot of decisions on daily basis that
is a powerful conceptualization of social interest and intuition. The world is divided into variety
of group and people who interact with others in order to form an impression and push their
expectations on them. The study of people interaction and behaviour is known as the social
cognitive psychology that indicates a group’s personality that is influenced by the stereotype
people and also schemas also play vital role in it (Campbell, Kettle, and Sundaram, 2018). The
schemas and stereotypes may face challenges as the interview of managers can make
differentiation against the candidate personality and nature. They may select guiding decisions
typically on the behaviour aspects who have similar personality and performance shown in the
interview. These buyers is can be result in giving low salary and incentive to those who have
different personalities and behaviour then the hiring manager. When the people stays in a group,
others behaviour and perception impact on their norms and opinions as well. The social
categorization of cognitive theory involves the representation of prototypes which creates a
mental picture of about the group of people and how they being a part of social psychology. In
job applications and personnel selection social cognition theory’s are applied. For example there

Stereotypes are not able to accept information other then there belief. Schemas are very well
versed with their organized skills and set of information. Schemas are psychology term used by
psychologist to categorized collected information. Schemas are more likely to understand
information in every possible direction but stereotypes unable to collect information other then
there belief.
The people who are the two believers and confident are known as where as the stereotypes have
might lack of confidence but they know how to handle the situation with their good patients.
Therefore this personality will not get affected in personal selection in personal selection and job
application as they could get hired by managers through their own personality and team working
skills. It has shown that these people have high interest in social activism and psychology that
makes their own believes and a unique personality (Chan, Gould, and Pascual, 2018).
. The difference among any group can need to make social comparison in decision
making in the stereotype context. Please individuals are subdivided into other categories in
which they can be sometimes warm and confidence with high competency level in order to
achieve their goals.
CONCLUSION
It has concluded from the report that the social cognitive theory involves various
perception and interaction of the people among the each other. It is all about behaviour attitude,
opinions information and understanding which place a crucial role at work full stop in searching

for a job application and personal selection, the stereotypes and scammers are well was
personalities with others perception by having good observational skills and set of information.
These people will help in making equity and productivity by doing what suits their interest and
does not involve in the activities which are out of their interest for longer time. Their four has
shown how these can get affected by their personality in the job application. Also it has seen that
the people needs to be socially interactive and communicable to understand what others want to
convince an easily know their behaviour.
