This study investigates the impact of social media on employees performance and productivity in the industrial sector of Australia. It aims to find out how social media affects productivity, communication, and motivation of employees. The study will use mixed research methodology, including literature review and stratified sampling technique. The research hypothesis will be tested to determine whether social media use affects employee productivity and communication. The expected outcome of the study is to provide a professional code of conduct for employees to regulate social media use at the workplace.
