Strategic human resource management is the practice of developing, attracting, rewarding as
well as retaining staff members for the benefits of both business firm as well as their staff
members (Anderson, 2013). HR division of company practice strategic human resource
management but it don’t work independently interact with other department of company for
understanding goals as well as design strategy which align with objectives. Furthermore,
Strategic human resource management is seen as a partner who helps within success of company,
as opposed essential for legal compliance or compensation. Strategic HRM utilizes the talent and
opportunity within the human resources department to make other departments stronger and
more effective.
This report is based on TNT Express which is an international courier delivery service
company. It was founded in 2001 and headquartered at Hoofddorp, Netherlands. In addition to
this, services offering by respective organisation are express and freight delivery services.
Moreover, report will going to conduct discussion on contemporary trends and development in
HR as well as modification within Human resource policy and practices in relation of current
trends as well as development. In relation to the same, relevant theories and concepts related to
growth and development of HR practices will highlight. Furthermore, change management
model will discuss in support of HR strategy.

mentioned below for better understanding :-
Training and development: Nowadays, companies provide training and development
session to staff members in order to enhance their skills and competencies. In addition to this, it
help company to provide quality service to customer that develop positive image in the mind of
customer. in relation to TNT express, its human resource manager conduct training session to
both the new and existing employees which help them to provide quality and on time service to
customer that further aid in building reputation in market.
Benefits & compensation: In order to motivate employees and to enhance their
productivity level, it is essential for company to provide monetary and non-monetary benefits to
