INTRODUCTION
Service, tourism and travel industry are drastically changing all around the world &
expanding at rapid level. With this dynamic changing of market and trends, tourism industry is
improving and enhancing their sector. Broad-stairs, a coast-east destination which is located in
UK. It is being considered as best place to live for residents as well as tourists because of
excellent rail links as well as networks and ample number of facilities available in town. Further,
growth of tourism has also been increasing & giving opportunity for town to expand themselves
at wider scale. There are many other co-curricular activities attracts tourist to this place such as
Dumpton Gap, Louisa and Viking Bay, Dickens House Museum etc. This report includes
tourism strategic plan for coastal area, collaborative planning in tourism, strategy for tourism
with vision & objectives, key stakeholders in implementation of objectives and advantages of
chosen strategy in both socially & economically (Page, 2017). Appropriate information and brief
market research were used while preparing this report. It is necessary to use reliable information
for making effective strategies as well as tactics.

It is crucial to prepare and implement strategic & tactics in every field so that result as
well as outcomes are positive/ effective. In relation with tourism sector, it is also important to
produce strategic plan for tourism so that correct decisions are taken for attracting more tourists
and how to develop the locality or area. Thus, SP is defined as analysing and examining the
strength/weakness of topic or field & preparing some measures to improve them. It requires time,
skills, & knowledge to implement accurate, reliable plan so that conflicts or errors do not arise in
near future. Also, it is systematic process which includes vision, objectives, mission, executive
summary etc (Boniface, 2017). All these elements are necessary to be analysed appropriately so
that decisions are taken accordingly. Therefore, there are various types of benefit to coastal areas
for producing strategic which are listed below-

Protection to nature/environment- When planning is done in coastal areas, it also
provide protection to species as well as surroundings which live the area. This is said because
new rules, regulations, policies, procedures are introduced so that proper safety is concerned of
resources, eco-system, habitats etc. Also, by producing SP more new amenities for tourists &
people living in the area are implemented for vacation/leisure time (Page, 2017).Environmental
practitioner is also appointed in every area to make ensure that all natural species &habitats are
safe. Other than this, shelters are provided to such species for living in environment.
FEXI- It is also known as Foreign Exchange Income in which is earned via importing as
well as exporting of goods to other destinations which increases growth in more tourist as well as
income to locality & is then further used as development of area such making more facilities
available to people, new restaurants etc. Through this, generated income can be used in
development of area and which is done by local authorities as well as communities. Through
FEXI, communities are able to implement crucial measures which are required in area for growth
as well as development.
Economic benefit- By producing effective strategic plan, it provides growth and increase
in employment at higher scale. Because it has been analysed most of the jobs are generated
through service and tourism industry. Also, it assists government by generating taxes, VAT,
from tourism business. Through this, status of that area gets developed at broader level. It is seen
that coastal area destinations area the most appropriate source to generate incomes, profit and
sales so, suitable strategic planning is done by the communities of that area. Such economic
benefits assist both state &locals as un-employment get reduced which also improves condition,
living standard of people etc. (Pappas, 2020).
Example- Eilat, Island which is situated in Israel is best place for tourist to visit and it is
quite safe. It is well known for red mountains, blue sea, underwater observatory Marine Park,
Timna Park, Dolphin Reef etc. The destination is growing and attracting tourist from different
countries. Moreover, in this coastal area government of country is very supportivebecause they
provide campaigns as well as activities development programme for residents & tourists. This
encourage other communities also to take suitable measures to develop attractions in locality
such as by making character over buildings, paintings etc. In addition to this, EU & Israel has
been into agreement in aviation sector so that directs flights are being introduced between both
