INTRODUCTION
It is necessary for every organisation to analyse and develop its employees’ skills and
knowledge, this can help to attain goals and objectives. Employability skill is most important for
every organisation. Large number of business organisations appoint their applicant on the basis
of their knowledge, skills and core competencies. BT is one of the organisations work to provide
services mainly related to welfare of the society. Today most of the people are so conscious
about their health, they largely prefer organic foods beneficial for their health. The main motive
is to prepare this assignment is to develop training and development programmes which helps to
r motivate workers to do given task. This report also discusses the tools and techniques that are
helpful for organisation in order to resolve conflict arises in work atmosphere.
TASK 1
1.1 Own responsibilities and performance objectives.
Manager play important role for organisation profitability and success. They do their
activities and operation with full of efficiencies and capacity. As a junior manager of this cited
organisation. I will monitor the performance level of workers so it can help to achieve large
profitability and success. BT is one of organisations that largely provide better services to
society’s welfare. They mainly work for providing health and social care facilities to large
number of people. Company largely produce organic products because today person are more
conscious about their health. . This organisation provides various facilities like medical, old age
homes, employment opportunities etc, that increase the living standard of persons. Today
persons are suffered from various diseases, unemployment, illiteracy so they are not able to live
a better life. As a manager I will made various strategies that helps for attain company goals and
objectives in near future. (JonesTorezani and Luca2012). The main motive of every organisation
is to make large profits.

As a junior manager, I will perform my work with full efficiency and capacity that help
to attain organisation’s goal and objective. I will mainly focus on providing health and social
care service to large number of people. As many people are suffering from diseases, illiteracy,
unemployment etc. they are not able to a live better life. I mainly focus for those objectives that
are beneficial for society and their health. Organisation provide various facilities in term of
medical, housing and other perquisites that can help to meet the need and want of customers. I
will complete my work with full efficiency in the given time limit. I will give my best efforts and
potential to increase satisfaction level of customer.. As a junior manager, I will perform my work
according to set standard, this can help for completion of work on a time. If any conflict or
misunderstanding exist in organisation, I can remain cool and calm in this type of occurrence, so
I can easily resolve these grievances. I will arrange training and development programmes for
workers that will help to encourage their motivation and efficiency level and give more
productivity and profitability in long run.
1.3 Recommendation for improvement
I mainly focus to tools and techniques help to achieve set objectives and goals. With the
help of this method, I will easily achieve standard and target with full efficiency and
effectiveness. As a junior manager, I will always concentrate on my roles and responsibilities
that helps to achieve success and growth in near future. I will mainly focus to provide better
services that can help to large number of customer. (Griffin and Annulis,2013). I will launch
various programmes that can help to full fill the needs and wants of society. I mainly work to
improve and develop my communication skills so more people are attracted to this organisation.
I mainly focus for new technology software which help to achieve the company goodwill and
profitability in long run. With the help of new invention, I mainly concentrate those persons who

need a medical treatment. I can also help for old people who require homes, accommodation. I
mainly work for better opportunities that coming for company and give attention to a completion
it. As a manger it is my responsibility to identify the need and wants of customer that can help
for company profitability and growth.
1.4 Motivational techniques are used to improve quality of performance
It is necessary for organisation to establish various programmes that helps to increase
motivation and efficiency level of large number of workforce. Manger has responsibility to
establish positive working environment it helps to encourage workers. With the help of this
factor, employee can complete their task with full efficiency and capacity. Business environment
plays an important role in organisations’ growth (Fatima Warraichand Ameen 2011). Manager
has responsibility to create positive working environment in workplace so it can help to increase
the motivation and efficiency level of workers. There are various motivation techniques which
are, mentioned below, these are as follows:
Positive running environment: Manager creates positive working atmosphere in their
workplace so employees can easily communicate their idea and messages in front of top
management. Manager has right to allot variety task to all the workers this can helps to increase
competition level so employee can do their work with full efficiency and capacity in short period
of time.
Setting up goal: It is a responsibility of manager to establish goals and objectives that helps the
company to gain goodwill and growth. Workers can firstly see organisation goals and objectives
that are matched with their personnel goals, then they are able to completing it with full
efficiency and capacity.
Incentive: Company provides various incentive facilities to their manager and worker so both
can work with their full potential and capacity. With the help of this perquisite, individuals can
do their work with full efficiency and capacity.
These all factors helps for improve and develop the quality of performance of large workers who
are working in organisation.

2.1 Development of solutions relating to work based problems.
Conflicts mainly arise in organisation if there is no proper communication between
employer and employee (de Guzmanand Choi 2013). Communication play important role for
organisation success and profitability. Without interaction process, manager is not able to
maintain relationship with their subordinates. There are three level exist in every organisation
hierarchy. These are top level, middle level and low level, these all play important role for
organisation profitability and growth. Manger has responsibility to resolve all grievances that
exist in organisation. They largely focus to maintain their relation with large workforce. So,
workers can participate in open communication process without any fear. Sometime organisation
has not able to provide better services to society because of miscommunication and conflict
factor exist in company. The main goal and objective of this cited company is to provide
valuable services that help to fulfil the need of society welfare. They also focus to improve and
develop the living standard of people. In every organisation, worker is coming from different
culture, religion, caste and creed this all factors increase the conflict factor in organisation.
2.2 Communicate in variety of styles and appropriate manner at various level
In organisation hierarchy, it is responsibility of all level of managers to largely participate
in communication process. Top level manager has right to maintain strong relationship with their
middle level and low level managers. These managers held various board netting, annual general
meeting this factor helps in proper interaction between workforce. They mainly focus on various
communication element that can help to easily understand the thoughts and ideas. Middle level
manager has right to collect various data and information through various programmes.
Subordinates and superior are properly interacted to each other. In organisation, some workers
are played their role in low level. In this level, they have no any right to follow proper working
instruction. Seminar and conference are very important tool for company this factor involve both
written and verbal communication (Abas-Mastura,Imam,and Osman, 2013). Most of time middle
level manger largely use mailing system, this is effective technique for written communication,
through this element, worker can easily understand all messages and data.

Every organisation made effective time strategies that help for workers to complete their
task within given time. So, they can do work with full capacity and potential. With the help of
various tools and techniques, company made time scheme. According to this factor, workers can
do their task with full efficiency and capacity. Manger has allotted time to each task that workers
has completed in a given time. The time element is so crucial for every company performance. It
is necessary for workers to largely focus in planing process, this help to increase performance
efficiency and capacity of worker and achieve goals and objectives of company in a short
duration of time (Andrews and Russell 2012). Cited company has adopted time management
strategies which are mentioned below:
Pre-planning: Planning play very crucial for organisation’s success and profitability. Planning
means to decide and plan in advance what is to be done in future. . Worker can plan their work in
each day and according to that they have completed their task with full efficiency and capacity.
This method helps to use proper utilisation of resource. Planning also refers to accomplish
company goals and objectives in short duration of time.
Remove distraction: Some objectives and things are largely affect the worker performance and
productivity, so they can mainly focus to these elements for avoid it. Things that are largely
distracted the performance of worker like mobile phones, tones, any gadgets that can adverse
effect their performance. It is duty of manager to give their workers a limited task at given time,
so they can complete with full efficiency and capacity.
Scheduling: Workers has completed their work as per set schedule, so it can easily achieve goals
and objectives of company. Workers are used various techniques that can help to complete its
task and objects in short duration of time such as notes preparation, memos etc.

3.1 Roles people play in team and process of working together to achieve shared goals.
Team leader play very crucial role in order to attain organisation profitability and growth.
It is responsibility of leader to manage their whole team and allocate task to each member of
team. It is duty of team leader to assess the work of their member. They mainly do task in order
to achieve organisation goals and objectives. The main purpose of formation of team is to
accomplish goals and objective of company in short duration of time. Leader has allocated task

to their member as per their knowledge and skill competence. There are various roles that team
member has followed, these are as follows:
Plant: This is first role play in team. These employees are introvert in nature, they are not easily
involvement with another person. They are shy in nature. These personnel are not able to
participate in decision making process and not exchange their ideas and opinions in front of top
level of manager.
Monitor evaluator: This is second role played in team. These personnel are expert in particular
profession. These are able to participate in interaction process and easily exchange their ideas
and views in front of another member.
Specialist: The third role played in team. These are specialist in particular profession and give
best potential for accomplishing respective task with full efficiency and effectiveness.
Resource navigator: These individuals are extrovert in nature. They are easily interacted with
other personnel; without any fear. They are creative in nature. They are able to introduce new
software and technology that helps for achieve company profitability and growth in near future.
Sharper: These personnel are sharp and dynamic in nature. These individuals are able to
complete their task with full efficiency and capacity.
Implementer : These personnel are able to complete their task in given time period. These are
more practically in nature.
3.2 Analysation of team dynamics
The concept of team dynamic is proposed by MR Kurt le win in 1940. They consider that
people who work in team are coming from different culture, religion, caste, creed. Their
behaviour and attitudes are also differed from each other. With the help of this theory, it can
easily identify the role and responsibilities of member who are part of team (Hinchliffe and
Jolly2011.). Organisation build team and allotted each task to several persons. Each member of
team is different from other personnel in term of behaviours, attitude, caste, religion, culture. So
conflict are arise in workplace it can adverse effect the profitability and productivity of company.
Cited organisation adopted the MR Kurt Lewis theory that helps for develops and improve team.
The two ideas that helps for increase the group process, these are as follows:
Interdependence of fate: The major conflict arise between group member is that their thought,
ideas, culture, behaviour and attitude are different from other. It is not necessary that they are
similar to each other, there are little bit difference exist. According to this theory, group exist

when all individual consider fate that re similar to each other. They mainly work for achieve
same goals and objectives.
Task interdependence: According to this theory, Mr Kurt Lewis propound that the goals and
objectives of each member of group are interdependent to each other. Basically, group task is
termed as when each member of group is depended to other person than a the creation of
dynamism.
3.3 Alternate ways to complete task and achieve term goal
There are various alternate methods that can help to achieve organisation goals and
objectives, these are as follows:
Communication: This factor plays important role for organisation’s productivity and success.
With the help of this element, manager easily maintain relationship with their worker. If
employer and employee interacted with each other the possibility of conflict or
misunderstanding reduces . This element also helps to increase motivational level of workers so,
they can perform their work with full efficiency and capacity.
Work team: This element also plays major role in organisations’ success. It is responsibility of
team leader to allocated task to their member according to its work efficiency so it can give their
best potential and capacity that can help to achieve goals and objectives in long run.
Goal setting exercise: It is necessary for organisation to set their goals and objectives in
advance as per their vision and mission statement. So, workers have worked for accomplishing
this targets and purposes.
Roles and responsibilities: Team leader has responsibility to allot task and work to his/her
team. They have right to assess the workers’ performance in a given time. If any discrepancy has
founded by team leader then it is duty of that member to fulfil this gap.

4.1 Tools and method for developing solution to problems.
Health and social care sector are mainly providing services that are beneficial for society.
They always do work for society welfare. Sometime employees are not able work with full
efficiency and capacity because of excessive task given, lack of knowledge relate to particular
matter. Manager has responsibility to maintain strong relationship with their subordinates so it
increases the motivation and efficiency level of worker. If they are not able to establish positive

atmosphere in workplace then employee feel uncomfortable and existence of turnover situation.
So, some tool and technique that helps for resolving grievances. Manager has established proper
training and development programme so it helps to enhance the knowledge and skill competence
level of worker. Company also adopted the theory of Kurt Lewis which helps for solving
conflicts in organisation.
4.2 Appropriate strategy for resolving the problem of unawareness
Company made various alternatives strategies that are helpful for company productivity.
With the help of this element, manager can easily resolve all grievances that exist in
organisation. Manger has responsibility to maintain proper relationship with their worker so it
encourage motivation and efficiency level of employee. They largely participate in
communication process where they can easily exchange their ideas and messages in front of top
level of manager. This organisation provides various health and social care services to people.
They provide medical, old age home facility at low cost.. Today people are so conscious about
their health so they provide organic food facility. This cited organisation mainly work toprovide
better services to large number of people. This institution also provides financial grants to people
that help to increase the livings standard of people.
4.3 Impact in the business of implementing these strategy
Implementation play very crucial role in gaining o profitability and productivity. BT
made various strategies, to provide better health and social care services. Managers have
responsibility to establish proper training and development programmes for their workers so this
helps to increase their knowledge and skill competence. They also give financial support to those
people who are not able to meet their basic needs and wants. The main goals and objective of
this cited organisation is to develop their goodwill and productivity in long run. This cited
organisation is able to give free medical services to the society (Miller Biggart and
Newton2013.). Today people are so conscious about their health so this cited organisation
generate organic food element that are helpful for public.
