INTRODUCTIONCultural basically affect the business working in both positive and negative way. Thereport is also based upon to understand the importance of culture in a company and it issupported through many authors as well. Report will critically evaluate the suggestion made inarticle on Hofstede's cultural dimension and then justifying it as per my opinion. Further reportwill make some further suggestions.MAIN BODY1. Critically evaluating suggestions made in an articleAs per Hofstede, he identifies four different dimension of a culture that creates impactupon the business. He also made different suggestion such as cultures that score high onuncertainty avoidance dimension are tend to avoid some risk taking and that is why the firmwithin these cultures also have more rules in their workplace so that their employees will notdeviate from their standards (Hofstede, 2010). Apart from this, Hofstede also made a suggestionsuch that when a firm has a brand image then it has to adjust many environments as well. That iswhy some company also focus on diversity of the employees in order to deal with customers indifferent countries. The author also states that if the cultural values of the people are differentthen organisational culture Is also different. Moreover, the author suggest that the culture of an employee who working in globalbusiness may also have different from the national culture and these values always reflect thenational culture as well. It has been analysed that the organizational values are also specific tothe mission statement that helps to guide the conduct and relationship with a stakeholder. On theother side it has been critically evaluated by the author that the values of an organization are alsoeffectively made by a managers only in order to make sure that these values are highly visibleand demonstrate so that each of an employee will understand it.Beside this, the author also suggested that the organization;s culture is further based uponthe values, norms and some behaviour. He also describe that unlike values, norms are somebehavioural expectation and it have a high degree of specificity that further requires a desirablebehaviour in a form of policies and procedure. Lastly, he also suggested that with the change inculture, there is a need to change in communication especially in the social media so that itcreates positive impact upon the individual and organization as well (Catora, Gilly, and Graham2011). 1
