MAIN BODY Multi Agency and Multi-Disciplinary Under Multi Agency, the services catering to a wide range of aspects of the needs of the seeker of the service are addressed i.e. they are able to offer solutions to any kind of problem that a person can encounter. Multi-Disciplinary on the other hand signifies a team of healthcare professionals where the professionals of different disciplines are working together and therefore patients suffering with different types of problems can be treated (Gobet, 2015). Roles In NHS, which is a multi-disciplinary, there are various workers having different roles: Nurseswho assist the doctors in giving appropriate treatment and care to the patients and ensure that the medical history of the patients is recorded and appropriate follow-up steps are taken. Doctorsare the ones who treat and diagnose the patents planning appropriate care taking procedure for them and giving them the treatment which will cure them from the disease. Receptionistensures that all the details of the patients and their families who are visiting the hospital is recorded correctly and carefully and further their job roles included giving and taking appointments and giving up the details to the doctors and caretakers (Jakes and et.al., 2018). Social Workerare those care takers who give their services for free in the health and social care settings where they assist the registered nurse and other care takers in performing the basic tasks without charging anything in return. Security Staffensures that no harmful objects are being carried inside the healthcare setting and the visitors are visiting the facility with good intentions only. Case Study Once, a new social care taker Maria, appointed in NHS, who was not trained adequately and was not familiar with the setting was sexually abused by a patient admitted in the hospital. She was doing a night shift and was resting on the bedside of a patient named Smith who was admitted due to high blood pressure. He had almost recovered and was ready to get discharged the next day. Maria stated that she suddenly woke up to find Smith touching her in inappropriate places and immediately ran away screaming while he began laughing. Later a case was filed against him and it was discovered that he was mentally unhinged and took pleasure by doing such things with women.
