Social care workers assist a person and their family for both part and it is practical and
emotional where they can live happily and independently. The supporting workers within social
care home gives social, physical, emotional help to their patients that includes disabled, poor and
senior people (Jones, 2014). They assist young people and their family members for supporting
an individual by using services. Care tech provide different services and facilities to their
workers for take care of all patients.

P1 Identify roles of non direct care workers
A non direct care employees are those person who are not especially appointed to
particular place for care an individual. They serve and offer an enterprise but directly included in
specific job. There are different non direct care employees in the care homes that are described
as follows:
Laundry/cleaning staff- They are those individual who help in cleaning rooms, clothes,
change bed sheet and neat lounge. It is necessary for them is to clean the care homes for
satisfy the patients needs and requirements.
Managers- They have common skills and knowledge that involves communication, self
management, responsibility, and other business capabilities. They need to make sure that
entire care home that should smoothly run the business operations and activities.
Catering employees- The role of catering employees for preparing, making and serving
food to the residents and properly clean the whole kitchen in which they make food for
their patients (Kadushin and Harkness, 2014).

home care so they require to correct their mistakes and barriers.
Pharmacists- It is important section of each care home so they provide medicine to
residents for improving their health and should be maintained. They can easily access

2015). To protecting from dangerous diseases, an individual should wash their hand
before eating some food items. This is the role of care workers is to properly wash their
patients hand before eating.
Maintain high level of cleanliness- The another duty of care workers for maintain
cleanliness in whole care home so they can protect and prevent from harm or danger.
Maintain security in caring environment: Safe storage and disposition of wastage products and services- Care staff should secure
storehouse room and discard waste goods from outside care homes.
Use of component dangerous to health- In Care Tech, manager adopt and use latest
methods and techniques for protecting people from any dangerous harm or danger. So
