NSH (National health service) is the umbrella term for the publicly funded health care system
of the United kingdom. NSH England published the NSH Long term plan , this plan developed
with the objective helping and supporting the NSH sustainability over net ten years. In this report
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust strength, weakness, opportunities and threats are going to
be analyse related to their performance in the accomplishment and incorporation of the NSH
long term plan. That how effectively they are meeting the standards of long term plan and how
they can improve their performance in context to that.

INTRODUCTION
Health care services and practises of the health care setting have to be effectively done or
accomplish on the basis of the different standards and framework provided by the NSH or other
health care associations. NSH (National health service) is the umbrella term for the publicly
funded health care system of the United kingdom (Gözüm and et. al., 2021). In 2019 NSH
England published the NSH Long term plan , this plan developed with the objective helping and
supporting the NSH sustainability over net ten years along with the aim of implementing
effective provision of disease prevention and reduction of the health inequities. This is
including the effective measures in context to the prevention of 150,000 heart attacks, dementia
cases and strokes, along with the services of better access to the mental health services for adults
and children. Over this focus on the improvement of patient care and health care outcomes
quality, which have to be followed by each and every NSH trust and foundation. Lewisham and
Greenwich NHS Trust is the NSH foundation which play the responsibilities of effective
hospital services management within Lewisham Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in
Greenwich. In this report performance of the selected organisation is analysed with the
application of SWOT analysis in context to the effective incorporation of NSH long term plan
with in the care services delivery practices of selected organisation.

SWOT analysis
This is one of the most important analytical tool which helps in the assessment of
organisation performance in terms of the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threat. This play
important role in the health care environment analysis and management of the health care
services practices according to the analytical results (Theocharis and et. al., 2019). This helps to
assess all external factors which are impacting the organisation performance and in context to
which organisation have manage their performance with some changes and strategies for
successful achievements of the plan. With the aid of SWOT analysis NSH foundation can
evaluate their internal and external strength along with the weakness and opportunities in context
to their long term plan achievements.
