Title – “Impact of staff motivation schemes to employee retention: A case study on John
Lewis
Research Aim –
The key aim of this project is "To investigate the potential impact of staff motivation schemes
and strategies of talent management over increasing the retention of employees at work place: A
case study on John Lewis.
Research objectives –
The suitable investigation objectives associated with this research defined as under:
To understand the concept of talent management and the role of staff motivation schemes
in context to business.
To study the impact of staff motivation schemes and talent management strategies over
employee’s retention at workplace.
To identify the issues faces by John Lewis related to retention of employees at
workplace.
To measure the ways, that can be implementing by John Lewis in reducing the issue of
employee retention.
Research Questions –
The research questions connected with the similar area are provided as below –

Section Two: Reasons for choosing this research project
The primary reason of executing the analysis based on the aspect of investigating the potential
impact of staff motivation schemes and strategies of talent management over increasing the
retention of employees at work place, is that, it is a key concern of the business and organisation
are facing issues related with employee turnover and the study is effective in providing
descriptive evaluation to enhancing individual skills and ability. The study is also effective in
providing a suitable idea about the motivation schemes to expanding the maintenance of
representatives at work environment. The another goal of executing the examination is the
individual premium of the scientist as the examiner needs to investigate personal as well as
professional skills that helps the investigation in attaining growth and success in future purpose.
On personal grounds the study will help in attaining effective academic records and on
professional grounds the study will aid value in trying the further studies suitable way.

investigation area. It is an effective written impression of the main writings and some of the
other sources on the selected area. It provides suitable analysis, summary and evaluation of each
source to develop in-depth understanding. This part of research has been conducted via applying
secondary sources for an instance books, journals, articles and internet sources.

anticipating of needed human resource for a business and the planning to meet those
requirements. Therefore, it is the full extent of HR cycle to draw in, installed, create, spur and
hold high performing representatives at workplace to increasing the professional ability of the
