INTRODUCTION In education and training, teachers play a vital role in enhancing knowledge and skills of the learners. Teaching is an important activity which holds responsibility towards the growth and cognitive development of the students. There are many roles a teacher performs which is of a mentor, coach and trainer(Batanero, 2020). Therefore, education must be focused towards the key development of issues and elements like curriculum, areas of specialisation and studies. There is requirement of key issues that supports the development of objectives and meet with the needs of learners. For that instance, this report is going to analyse the roles and responsibilities in own area of business management. Also, there will be key roles and activities that will helps in analysing various functions, legislations and areas for improvement. This supports the discussion about the necessary activities like learning programmes, organisational goals and educational considerations. Therefore, it is important to reflect on own strength and weak factors to take effective actions upon it. This report is going to consider methods of communication, skills of ICT, numeracy and literacy. MAIN BODY TASK 1 1.1 Analyse your own role and responsibilities in education and training Teacher plays a crucial role in education system. A good teacher must have proper knowledge of the subject he is teaching. An effective teaching style with proper planning helps students to grab knowledge easily without wasting time. As a teacher, there are certain roles and responsibilities I need to fulfil like good communication with my students, meeting their needs effectively, promoting appropriate behaviour, being organised, etc. The very first responsibility of mine is to make sure each and every student is clear with the concepts. Clarification of concepts is significant for learning and this is an essential of a good teacher. Business management is a practical subject and so it includes practical work, known as training, for students(Hofer, Nistor, and Scheibenzuber, 2021). Business management has many options for students to opt as a career. Students vary and so do their minds. It is my responsibility to guide them. It is according to their interest and capability that I guide them.

Safety assurance help students concentrate on their studies and goals. This act not only covers the physical heath but mental health too. Mental health is generally what we neglect. It is my responsibility to ensure that my students are not going through any stress because that will affect their academic performance. Everyone wants to keep their data or information private. Data Protection Act, 2018, helps the organisation to maintain the privacy of students as well as their staff. If a student gave me some information then it is my duty to keep that private. It is on this basis of trust that they will share their problems with me in future too because to solve the problems of learners as a teacher I must first know their issues(Martin, Sun, and Westine, 2020).
