This report discusses the usage and development of resources for teaching and learning in the specialist area of sight impairment. It covers the purpose of resources, evaluation of specific resources, principles of resource design, theories and models of inclusive curriculum design, ways in which resources can be adapted to enable an inclusive approach, and legal requirements associated with usage and development of resources. It also includes a reflection on personal strengths and areas for improvement, and a SMART action plan to improve skills in the use and development of resources in sight impairment teaching areas.
