INTRODUCTION Teaching, learning and assessment is referred to the teaching qualification that posses a training or teaching practice requirement. It is defined as an “ in Service” qualification which is designed for those people which wishes to be trainer and teacher in UK. Candidate which are able to successfully complete this qualification will be able to became a qualified teacher. In this context, candidates are needed to embed different principles and theories associated with teaching, assessment and learning(Baldwin, 2016). This report will cover about investigation practices in own area of speciality. Also, principles, theories and model of learning, assessment and communication are needed to plan inclusive learning and teaching. Different theories of behaviour management are applied so that safe and inclusive learning or teaching environment can be sustained. Beside this, various models and theories associated with assessment in training and education are discussed. At last, expectations related with minimum core in assessing, delivering and planning inclusive learning along with reflection to evaluate own practice of learning and inclusive teaching is mentioned. TASK 1 1.1 Describeaspects of different pedagogical principles in the own specialism area Pedagogy is referred to the approach which is related with the communication and interaction within students, teachers along with their learning tasks and environment. There are different principles which are associated with good pedagogical approaches. Some of these principles are discussed below:Motivation –This is an important aspect that is needed while teaching students. In case of mathematics, there are various practices that can not be accomplished if teacher is not encouraging and motivating. Hence, motivation is treated as an important pedagogical principle while teaching.Criticism –There are different requirements for criticism in students and teacher during learning or teaching sessions because there are various things which takes place within classroom that may not be liked by the student or educator(Bellotti and et. al., 2013). TASK 2 2.1 In order to look and acknowledge documents for diagnostic and initial assessment, teachers are required to identify their major roles along with responsibilities of diagnostic assessment so that suitability of a specific person can be maintained in a proper manner. Initial assessment is referred as a technique or tool which is used by learner to acknowledge their level of improvements in a particular subject. It will allow the tutors to use different facts and information so that selection process in be performed in an appropriate manner(Brown, Bull and Pendlebury, 2013). Assessment is required to calculate results of chosen qualification and examining the requirement of success in the life of learner. Weaknesses and strengths of a person plays a vital role in skill enhancement along with knowledge level. This will allow a person to achieve desired success. These aspects are stated beneath:Needs of learners:Every person posses different kind of desires and requirements to be a perfect teacher. By completing these necessities, every individual can formulate and develop their knowledge and skills so that their goals can be achieved due to better performance.Delivery model:There are different delivery models which can be used by teacher so that appropriate and required knowledge or education can be given to every learner in a proper manner(DeMonte, 2013). Internal and external requirement:The internal requirements are concerned with various kind of characteristics such as group size, procedures, resourcing, time tabling, curriculum model etc. These different activities are concerned with learning as well as teaching must be assigned to staff in a proper manner. External requirements are related withskillcontent,knowledge,vocationalstandard,awardingorganisationetc.If academic institutions perform recommendable work, they must be awarded so that they can continue their best performance properly. 2.3 There are different kind of learning as well as teaching plans which is needed by teachers while teaching their students so that they can achieve high success in their career. It is important to formulate abilities as well as skills by training and development procedures. This will benefits in enhancing productivity of desired aspects. These kind of teaching practice will make an individual capable to fulfil their goals and objectives so that desired growth can be achieved in future. Individual needs or goals –Every learner posses some requirements that can be fulfilled by educator only, thus, the teacher is needed to implement those practices that can
accomplish the need of a particular person so that desired goals can be achieved in life (Falchikov, 2013). Curriculum needs –In order to achieve a reputed designation or position, an individual is needed to create an attractive curriculum vitae. Different types of learning and training procedures helps a person in building their opportunities, practical skills, knowledge content and wider activities. This will helps an individual to achieve valuable position in career. 2.4 Feedbacks are very essential as they helps an individual in acknowledging the opinion of other about their work and services. With the help of feedbacks, an individual can improve their teaching skills which will help them in future. This method will help them in determining threats and opportunities of different learning procedures. Informal learner feedback:In some situations,a learner have some questions and different problems associated with a particular topic. But in these type of situations, professors do not offer high chances to learners. In such situation, students and learners asks their problem or queries by using informal methods to fulfil their curiousness about a particular topic(Havnes, Smith, Dysthe and Ludvigsen, 2012). Planned learner feedback–There are some academic institutions that have a particular criteria to conduct different course reviews and formal sessions. This will help the learner in solving their issues or problems with the help of feedbacks. 2.5 Planning is referred as an effective approach which helps in determining guidelines for individual learning so that enhancement practice for knowledge can takes place. In order to create effective classroom development practices, I am planning to implement approaches such as assess, deliver, evaluate and plan. It is important for me to implement desired models and theories so that positive relation with learners can be sustained. I am going to implement relationship facilitator model which is referred as a procedure model to develop a strong link between tutor and student. I am also needed to manage my behaviour for students so that independent learning practicecan be applied.
