Belbin theory of teamwork
Thought oriented team roles-
• The monitor evaluator- The main role of this individual within a team is to analyse the pros and
cons of the ideas shared by team members.
• Specialist- They are the individuals who are having expertise in the skills which are required for
achieving the main goal of the team.
• Plant- It is the individual who come up with new ideas and approaches for achieving team goal in
a better way.

People oriented roles-
• Coordinator- This role is given to the
team leader who manage all tasks and
people of the team.
• Team worker- They are the individual
who support the team members and make
sure that whole team will work together.
• Resource investigator- This is the team
role which help to analyse the requirement
of resources and make it fulfil
appropriately.

• Shaper- They are the individuals who
help the team to mitigate the issues and
achieve the team goal effectively.
• Implementer- They are the people who
get things done.
• Completer and finisher- They are the
individuals who see that projects should
be completed thoroughly.
