THE GLOBAL PROFESSIONAL REFLECTION This TGP3 has helped me in learning and understanding importance of mind-set. Blog session 4 helped in understanding different mind-sets in a proper manner.In this session I was also able to understand intercultural effectiveness which helped in learning ways in which out mindset react and behave at different stages.However, blog session 5 helped in learning that power distance is one of the main dimension because of which high level of inequality of power and wealth in society is increasing. I have started taking the sessions for my global mind-set (Appendix 1)Blog session 6 made me rethink that whether cultural relationship can help in improving relationship and how different background people can communicate and understand each other. In Blog seven all the observations that were made in previous module were rethought that if relationship and communication within people with different it is extremely important to understand behaviour and attitude of people in a proper manner. Blog session 7 of Global professional session helped me in understand that there are two different types of cultures. This session also helped me in gaining understanding of understanding different kinds of culture and grow globally. Blog Session 8 helped me in learning ways in which team work is promoted and dealt with Different communication styles with different attitudes towards conflict, different decision making styles, different attitudes towards disclosure. This session has helped us in developing professionally and has helped in understanding ways in which simple task are carried and teams can work together globally without any communication issue My first IDI result showed that I was in minimization at the beginning, which is my intercultural sensitivity mindset.In order to develop professionally there are various frameworks that needs to be understood by the employee so that they can also show their skills and abilities at an international level. I have analysed that includes an employee needs to have a proper understanding about the cross culture approach. I have also realised that It will assist them in adjusting to the changing environment globally. In this they can also be able to have an idea about that how policies and code of conduct work when working in an international level organization.when I understood that mindset is the fundamental factor in developing my intercultural effectiveness (Appendix 2).I have also understood thatThis theory is very useful for the professional development of employees.It has been analysed that having a proper understanding of this cultural theory will assist employees in reducing the miss-communication. 1

There can be an improvement in the work of employee by knowing an understanding the facial expressions and language patterns of people from different culture.In this way we can negotiate a 3rdculture (appendix 4) to make sure that everyone is as comfortable as possible (TGP8). I have understood thatThis will assist the professional in making a better bond with the people from varied culture. It provides the explanation that how different background people can communicate in their own way by making use of gestures or even by facial expression. This inter cultural communication theory is very useful for developing professionally. I also have been analysed that inter cultural effectiveness and employability skills has the huge impact on development of work relationship between employees globally. DMIS increases the sensitivity towards different culture.Our assessment group has been really successful in this (Appendix 5).We are here in different group, different culture only by understanding the background and culture values and beliefs of other individuals. It has been analysed that intercultural effectiveness among employees can assist in developing the organization and also helps in developing the culture of diversity in firm. It will help the various companies in attracting potential employees will high skills and abilities. This will be very useful for the growth of firm. It has been analysed that while working in different culture, there are various type of employability skills that will be require by employees in order to make their work relationship better. They need to have problem solving and team working skills. This will assist us in solving problems with employees of different background. It will make our work more productive and 2

This can assist us in resolving issues and making better decision which is really necessary for growth of employees and even of company. Cross culture communication can also be useful for us to know about the perception of employees from different background. It will also help us in doing the work together and making it more productive and effective. Different type of cultural framework can be used by the employees in order to have understanding of various cultures. In order to grow professionally, I have analysed that it is really necessary to make sure that no belief, attitude or thought process of other individual is been hampered as it can also lay negative impact on the work.all the effort I made to change and flex, which gave me great confidence (Appendix 8). I have also understood theCross culture communication will help global professionals in building trusted relationship with workers of other background. This factor can also assist them with negotiating with workers 3
that can be useful for the growth of firm. Language barriers can also be faced by us, so in order to overcome it we can make use of non verbal form of communication such as interacting through hand gestures and facial expressions. This will help us in overcoming the barriers which is really necessary for the professional growth. Eye contact can also be used, it can be taken as reflection of honesty and trust. This will also help me in making better bond and relationship with peer who is really necessary for the growth of my own and even of firm. If employee’s moves from one position to other they need to make sure that they are not stereotype. They need to be more accepting and adapt to the change. It is really necessary for them to work in a systematic manner when. It has also been analysed that workers need to be flexible when working with people from other background. They can make use of hand gesture and facial expressions. 4

How do we accept different culture, adapt and tolerate. This is all about mindset. There is some strength and weaknesses which can be improve.
