Section Five: Research approach and methodologies
What kind of research method and practises will be used and why? What
will be the main areas of research will be included
The research methodologies is undertakes as follows:
 Research philosophies: It is set of belief about the way in which data about
phenomenon or structure in which data is gathered and analysed for better used. It
contains two types of philosophies such as Positivism and Interprivistim. As per
researcher context, it takes Positivism, because as helps to addresses about personal
findings on the basis of values and independently. Use of Positivism philosophy is
appropriate as it facilitates a more systematic and effective way of leading an
investigation.
 Research Approach: According to this concept it helps to elaborates about procedure
about research which is span to highlight about better board of assumption to scrutinise
data collections. It elaborates two types of Deductive and Inductive approach. By
researcher it allows to select about Deductive approach, this helps to one people who
are typically where it associate which is investigation in effective manner. Use of
deductive approach is appropriate as it is properly in line with the positivism
philosophy as it ensure better scanning and testing of the numeric information.
 Research Method : As per this method it represents about procedure for better
collecting and analyse data, developing data as per research deisgn. In this research
method researcher is opted for Quantitative research method as overall data is
scrutinize in numeric and source from which data is collected through primary sources.
Use of quantitative research method is suitable as it ensures easy collection of
information and better presentation through help of statistical tools.

In this both primary and secondary is consider as facts and findings primary data helps
to gathered by opting questionnaire. The use of secondary research method for
collecting literature review data information. Use of questionnaire is appropriate as it

 Sample Size- a sample size of 45 participants has been selected from the
employees of Asda with the help of random sampling method for collection of
primary data.
