The location has sandy beaches, rugged rocks and presence of cliffs which make Clipper Bay a perfect place for the tourist and tis therefore one of the major tourist attractions(Benur & Bramwell, 2015).The place needs revitalization as it is a famous tourist destination and is also characterized by high diversity and the locality also comprises of fragile ecosystem. There is presence of both positive and negative effects of tourism present in the economy. The importance of the tourism planning are to make sure that the planners understand the significance of tourism and take in to account while preparing the development plans and also taking the planning decisions(Cook, Hsu & Marqua, 2014).The significance of tourism isto ensure that peopleinvolved in the tourism industry understands the principles of the national planning policy which are generally applied in tourism and how it can be applied while preparing the individual planning application. Profitability should not only be the only means of tourism there should be also be some aspect of keeping the environment safe in nature. The activity of tourism should also follow the sustainability off the environment along with the region. It is quite important for preserving the nature and the natural resources which will be available at the place. The paper also shows that there is a presence of a lot comparative advantage relating to tourism in Clipper Bay. Some of them which includes drain on economy which states that for attracting huge number of tourists. For attracting the tourists there need to be rise in the creation of the infrastructures which can also affect the place negatively. With the arrival of the tourists it also led to increase in the cost of the essential goods for the locals. There is also presence of many kind of social and environmental issues as it causes significant damages to the environment. In short it can be said that the tourism have both positive and negative impacts in the industry (Cook, Hsu & Marqua, 2014). Although one of the biggest problems that the society faces is the tourist hot spots is the problem related to drug and the alcohol abuse.
