1.1 Research problem
For every organization employees are one of the most important assets which help organization
to satisfy customers needs and demands effectively while assuring higher competitive growth in
industry. With the help of skilled and talented employees organization can conduct wide range of
complex task as well as activities in effective manner (Anitha and Kumar, 2016). Furthermore it
has been underlined that in today’s business environment there is stiff competition between
rivals in industry. In this with the help of providing training and development courses to
employees organization can not only retain them for longer period of time but can also maximise
their personal and professional skills that further benefit company to assure maximum consumer
satisfaction.
Organization can significantly attain success with the help of taking advantage of regular
training to employees, as it helps organization to enhance current level of skills and
competencies of employees and further benefit them to conduct organization roles and
responsibilities effectively. The present research is conducted on Aston Martin which is
operating its roles and responsibilities in automotive industry. It is a manufacturer of luxury
sports cars and was founded in the year 1913. The present research include discussion on the
needs and importance of training in addition with its impact on the performance level of
employees.

1.2 Literature Review
As per the viewpoint of Arslan and Uzaslan, (2017) it has been evaluated that training plays
important role for organization with the help of which they can enhance employees current level
of expertise in knowledge and can further fulfill customers needs and demands effectively. In
addition to this it has been analysed that with the help of training organization can improve skills
and knowledge of employees and can further prepare them for higher responsibilities. Training
also allow organization to make employees feel valued in organization and improve their various
skills which enhances their self satisfaction level.
In order to evaluate the importance the need of training within automotive industry. The present
research emphasise on taking advantage of various scholar works the concept on need of training
in automotive industry. In addition to this initial study has been duly undertaken by taking
emphasise on journal, principles and papers on training needs and importance as to determine the
knowledge in the automotive industry. In addition to this impact of training on performance level
of employees within organization is also being generalized.
