INTRODUCTION The report aims to analyse transferable skills in order to apply for the job vacancy. To apply for a job role and building career, skills like communication, time management and interpersonal abilities are crucial to apply for a dream job role (Ali, and Harris, 2019). One of the most important transferable skill is going to discuss for the vacancy of guest expert role in Marriott. MAIN BODY TASK The transferable skills is necessary for every business and the companies look for these individuals who have potential skills. One of the most important skills which a guest expert needs to have is communication skill. It helps in making a great relationship with customer and understand their needs and preferences. Communication skills includes both written and verbal which helps in talking professionally with customers(Daminova,2022). For the job role of guest expert, communication skills is much useful to attract customers and keep good relations. Communication is the key to influence others with own ideas and thoughts that will inspire and motivate them to take the services. The job role of guest expert includes various responsibility to attend customer, greet them, make them comfortable and solve their queries by providing them their liking product and service. When the guest expert identify the issues and requirements of customer, they will be able to solve their queries. This shows that, communication skill is vital for the growth and development of own self and perform business role. For that instance, this skill is required for handling customer experience, attend them and console for retaining loyal towards the company(Succi,and Canovi,2020). An individual is required to create experience by undertaking key activities like take participate in building customer relations, be an extrovert personality and improve own vocabulary for learning catch on the personal development. In order to apply for the job role of guest expert, communication skill is the most vital for the key development of necessary areas like interpersonal skills, knowledge and expertise and other areas for providing guest services.
CONCLUSION The report has concluded that, there is requirement of creating effective skills and knowledge about the job role. Communication skill is the most effective one which helps in forming good interpersonal relations. This shows that, to perform on the job role of guest expert, it will lead to enhance own skills and abilities to solve customer queries and fulfil their expectations.
