London is the leading tourist destination in the world, this city has many famous tourist attraction. This
is the city which attracts 19.1 million of the international tourist in 2017. Many of the people visit
London every year. There are many museums and also the art galleries, in which the majority which is
free to enter. The most popular museums in London are the Science Museum, the British Museum, the
Victoria and the Albert Museum and many more. The Museums were opened back in 1852 for the
local public and for the tourist. It contains the permanent collection of more than the four million

Implications:

birth to decreased economic growth and have impacted majorly upon the daily lives of the citizens of
Tibet (Damen, 2017). The issue has been identified as major political aggression between the local
government of China and Tibet.

Implications:
The heavy feud between the governments has resulted in restricted tourism for the Tibetans. The
restrictions have resulted in police checkpoints, monitoring the movements and restrictions towards
visiting the sensitive and religious areas majorly. Another impact observed is the slower growth of the
economy the result of which is decreased tourism (Damen, 2017). There are just not enough
transportation and accommodation facilities in Tibet which has impacted on the tourism sector. This is
due to the feuds and agitations between the Chinese and Tibetans government.

In July 2017, Lake District has been recognized as a World Heritage site.
From your readings and based on the factors influencing demand, explain how supply might
change in Lake District to meet the effects of the demand created by its new status.
