California (Uber Eats, 2018). It has been seen that through this website it can be easy for the
customers to purchase food and by using the application they can order food of their own choice.
The company focuses on offering 24 hours services to the customers so that it can be easy to
maintain relation with the customers. UBER introduced this application in the market so that it
can be easy for the customers to purchase the food and the aim of the company is to enhance the
market share by offering effective services in the market. There are many offers also which are
introduced by the company so that customers can be satisfied with the services which are offered
in the market. It will also help to enhance the brand image in the market. With the help of this
application the customers can easily order the food and the food is delivered by the delivery boy
of UBER (da Silva Monty, 2018).
Ethical issue
The ethical issue related with UBER EATS is that drivers are registering through bicycles but
they are delivering their food through cars. It is considered as the fraud which is done by the
drivers in the present era. It is just because they want to earn more and while taking a ride they
want to deliver the food to the customers. But this is one of the serious issues which affect the
image of the company and also the level of customer satisfaction. To earn more drivers are doing
fraud with the company by registering through cycles but they are delivering food by car which
is also creating confusion for the customers. It is also affecting the customer experience who
booked a ride because they driver is taking time to deliver food at the same time which enhances
frustration and affect the customer satisfaction level.
UBER EATS RATES
By emphasizing on the rates it has been investigated that the rates vary from vehicle to vehicle
which is used by the delivery boy. It depends on the means of transport which is used and also
the UBER service can be applied on the fare. The fair related to the bicycle is 30%, scooter 25%
and for car its 25%. The minimum payment which is given to the delivery agent is £4 (Uber eats,
2018).

The delivery charges are also applied for the customers at the time of ordering the food. It has
been investigated that $4.99 is the rate which is charged by the company but it can vary
according to the distance (Uber eats, 2018).
If the customer is closer to the restaurant then fees can be cheaper. The delivery rate of the
UBER is high if comparison is made with the other food delivery applications like Grubhub and
Seamless. But in the present scenario, the company is giving tough competition to the other food
delivery application by offering discounts and offers and sometimes there is no delivery fees
applied at the time of ordering the food. So, by considering these techniques in the market the
company achieved large market share in the competitive market (Sanders and Pattison, 2016).
Negative factors related to UBER EATS
There are various factors which are adversely impacting the overall image of the company. It has
been investigated that majority of the customers are facing the issue at the time of food delivery.
It has been seen that when the food is delivered by the agent or delivery boy then it is sometimes
spoiled. So, it is one of the major issues which are faced by the customers (Naccache, Côté and
Coelho, 2018).
The next negative factor is related with time. The time which is shown on the application is not
met by the delivery boy. The food which is ordered by the customers get delayed which
enhances the frustration level of the customers. One of the reasons related to it is the use of
vehicle. To earn more there are many drivers who are using same vehicle for delivering the food
and also for giving ride to the other customers. Due to this, the order which is given by the
customer get delayed and sometimes spoiled also. So, this is considered as one of the negative
factors which are important for the company to consider so that the issues which are taking
placing can be resolved (Mastrorillo, 2016).

customers. By giving more offers it can be easy to the company to capture the large market
share. So, the customers can order the food at low price by using various promo codes which are
given by the company (Schneider, 2017).
Also by ordering food online it is convenient for the customers. It has been seen that customers
can order food by sitting anywhere and at any time when they want. It is saving the time of the
customers and also it is bring change in the living standard of the people. The services which are
offered by the customers like 24 hours service and also proper customer support is enhancing the
satisfaction level of the customers. The need of the customer can be satisfied easily by sitting
anywhere. The needs of the customers are satisfied as it is easy for them to order online
whenever they want without going outside. The company is also offering online payment option
which made the payment process easy for the customers (Guimarães and Renzi, 2018).
Negative and positive factors related with employees
There are various negative and positive factors which are related with the employees who are
managing thee routine activities of the company. By focusing on the positive factors it has been
analyzed that the employment rate has been enhanced. Now with the help of this service
introduced by the company, it can be easy for the people to earn their living. They can easily
earn money by delivering food to the customers. This is also considered as source through which
the employees work according their timings. The average deliver which is made by the drivers

The negative factor which is related with the employees is that if the food which is ordered is
spoiled the delivery agent then it is his or her responsibility to pay for such orders. If the
customers are not satisfied with the food which is delivered then it can give negative affect in
monetary terms. So, it is important for the delivery agents to deliver the food properly so that
good rating can be achieved and also the company can achieve success (Glöss, McGregor and
Brown, 2016).
Recommendations related to the issue
It is important for the company to focus on reducing these types of issues as it affect the
satisfaction level of the customers and adversely impact the image of the company. It is
important for the company to focus on security check so that employees can perform their job
with honesty without any fraudulent activities. The registration which is done by the company
should be done by giving each driver a camera system which should be fitted on their vehicle as
it can help to analyze the overall performance of the driver. This will also help to reduce the
fraudulent activities which are taking place. The employees will give their best and with this the
services of the company can also be improved which will help to maintain the image of the
company in the market.

Conclusion
So, by analyzing the report it has been concluded that one of the issue which take place is related
with the use of cars instead of registered vehicle. So, it is important for the company to reduce
this issue as it is giving effect on the customer satisfaction. There are many drivers who consider
this idea so that they can earn more. In this case they take drive request also and food delivery
request. This is considered as the fraudulent act which is adopted by the drivers. So, it is
important to reduce this issue and for this the company should take into consideration the use of
camera which should be attached on the vehicle which is used by the delivery agent. It will help
to keep the record of the agent deliveries and also make the process transparent and clear. By
considering this technique it can be easy to reduce the issues which are faced by the customers
like delay in delivery and spoiled food. This will enhance the customer’s satisfaction towards the
services offered by the company.
