INTRODUCTIONIn a business organisation, process and operations of business can bemuch more successful by adopting various tools and techniques and thusutilising them at uppermost level and that too for a long period of time.Besides this, there are some dynamic nature of marketplace which is beingneeded to be adopted. There are number of modifications which takes placewithin the marketplace and there are various reasons for that like changingin trends, tastes and desires of customers (Caruth and Caruth, 2013).Flexible is an essential element for the company as thus provide many kindsof benefits and most of it, it helps in company grow and get success. In thisreport, company chosen will be Starbucks and Costa Coffee and they bothare multi national companies who are dealing in coffee products across theglobe. There are certain things which are being discussed like highlightingup of impacts of changes within the structure of company and its policies.Furthermore, there are various others sections like the drivers which havepotential to create direct impact on the behaviour of team along withleaders for attainment of aims and objectives in better and effectivemanner. This company is one of the largest organisation who mainly deals in coffee products andthat too across the globe. This company was founded in 1971 by the three people named asGrodon Bowker, Jerry Baldwin and Zev Siegel in Washington DC, United States. There areapprox 15000 outlets of this company within 50 countries. COSTAThis company is the major competitor of Starbucks because both of the companiesmainly deals in similar products and other eatable items. This company was founded in 1971 inLondon and now it is dealing in about 31 countries. There are around 3100 stores openedworldwide and thus operations are being expanded. There are number of policies and strategies which are being formulated and thus adoptedby both of the companies but while adoption, they made some few changes of their own and theyare being described below: StrategiesStarbucksCostaDemand basedstrategiesThe main focus of the company ison analysing and determining theneeds and wants of the customersand thus changes the factorswithin the products and services.The menu of the Starbucks hasmade number of changes withinthe items they mainly serve(Getha-Eby and O'Brien,2014). The main products and services of theCosta Coffee is the coffee of variouscultures and tastes of products ofvarious places. Thiscompany is mainly focusing oninnovation and experiments so that thetaste of people can be modified.
