Moreover, team working and team dynamic has systematically defined with respect of cited venture. TASK 1 1.1 Own responsibility and performance in the organisation Employability skill is kind of ability and efficiency in the human resource through which he/she can able to accomplish organisation objective in an effective manner. Employees requires to attend those personality development programs and training program through which they can able to improve their employability skill and quality. McDonald is the world largest food retailing corporation which have major objective is to delivery high quality food product and services to customer and acquire large market share. It aim is to increase high profitability and attract large numbers of customers toward firm. Thus being a marketing manager in the cited firm i have various roles and responsibility toward organisation. My major role is to increase the sales of product and services so as company can increase its profitability (Ju and et.al.,2014). For this objective, i require to develop effective marketing strategies and tactics so as large numbers of customer can attract toward business enterprise. Being a marketing manager i have major responsibility top introduce product and services of company in the market so as customer can attract toward firm. In addition to this, i have another responsibility to develop marketing campaign with the use of internet. In the today’s era internet and social media is best platform of marketing and promotion so my another responsibility to develop such promotional strategy on the social media and internet through 3
which I can develop brand own image on the internet. In order to feel this objective, I require to develop effective technical skill. Within the cited firm i have another responsibility toward my subordinate. I am liable to develop effective team and coordination among team member so as they can effectively attain their target. With help of communication, leadership, technical, coordination and analytical skill i can easily fulfil my entire roles and responsibility in the cited venture.Butmymajorandmostimportantresponsibilitytoincreasemarketshareand profitability of company by deliver attractive and impressive product and services and satisfy their needs and expectation. 1.2Evaluation of own effectiveness against objective As per the above discussion it has been ascertained that in the McDonald company, being a marketing manager i have various kinds of roles and responsibility toward firm. In order to fulfil these all obligation i need to analyse myself so as I can assess my major strength and weakness against determined objective. I have analysed that I have effective communication skill through which I can influence and convince customer. With help of effective communication skill, i can also effectively lead my marketing team and easily provide my knowledge and information to them. In addition to this, i have also effective coordination skill which assists me in improving my collaboration with my marketing team (Benson,Morgan and Filippaios,2014). By use of this trait, I can able to manage high level workload in an effective manner .In order to attain the determined objective, ihavealsoanalysed inmypersonality thatihaveeffectivetime management skill because i have manage lots of customers in a single time in the market. Furthermore, various kinds of marketing project can easily managed by me. However, i have lack of technical skill through which i am unable to prepare marketing report and record .i have responsibility to develop marketing campaign and promote McDonald product by use of social media and internet but lack of technical skill i am unableto use computer. In addition to this, i have also analysed that i have lack of presentation skill through which i am unable to give power point presentation in team meeting. Moreover, i have lack of decision making power through which i can not take frequent and fast decision related to marketing and promotional activities. 4

1.3 Make recommendation for improvement As per the above discussion it has been ascertained that i have various strength and weakness in my personality being a marketing manager of McDonald corporation. There are some of the area where i need some improvement so as i will effectively perform my duties and responsibility. I have analysed that i have lack of technical skill through which i unable to prepare record and marketing campaign by use of computer and internet. In order to improve technical skill i should attend training and development classes or i can also do diploma in technology. By this i can learn various methods, concept and criteria to operate computer and other equipment in the company (Jones, 2013). In addition to this, i have lack of decision making power through which i am unable to take the decision related to marketing strategy and policies. In order to solve this issue, i should attend personality development workshops so as i can learn various criteria to survive business as a leader. In order to improve presentation skill, i should attend training and development classes so as i can learn the ways to interact with large numbers of audience and give presentation. 1.4Motivational techniques Motivation is a process under which leader or manager in the company appreciate, recognise, encourage employees performance and their efficiency can measures by monetary and non monetary rewards. It is very important aspect in McDonald because with aid of motivation, manager can easily enhance the level of performance and productivity of business. McDoanld manager can consider Herzberg theory of motivation under which employees can satisfy by two factor that is hygiene factor and motivator factor. As per the Hygiene factor, employees can motivated by effective salary, fringe benefits, compensation, bonus, perquisites ,incentive, attractive pay etc. In the other hand as per the motivate factor, employees can motivate by recognition,appreciation,promotion,increment,highresponsibility,higherstatusetc.If McDonald consider this theory of motivation in the company then it will effectively motivate anc encourage its workforce for higher productivity and performance. With help of motivation techniques, corporation can boost up business growth and profitability because employees can encourage to increase their quality and speed (Rosenberg, Heimler and Morote,2010). Generally, company can motivate its human resource with help of monetary and non monetary motivation techniques. In the monetary rewards, corporation should provide attractive salary package, incentives, fringe benefits, perquisites, compensation, bonus etc. On the other hand in 5
the non monetary reward, manager should provide higher responsibility, promotion, higher status, increment etc. TASK 2 2.1Development of solution to work based problem Work based problem is that situation through which business process and working criteria of employees can negatively influence. Thus, firm’s quality and productivity can also decrease. In the McDonald, the major work based problem is high level of employee turn over due to the ineffective working policies and low wages. This is major reason behind the employees turn over. Now company manger is responsible to identify the reason behind the issue and find out the best strategy and alternative solution. In order to solve this work based problem, manager can use the several stages which are as follows- Analyse the actual problem- In the first stage, manager is to identify the actual situation of work based problem in the organisation. In this stage, manager is responsible to analyse current situation of workplace and identify the reason through which issue has been arisen within firm. Understand the reason behind the situation- After analyse the work based problem, in the next stage, manager can understand the actual reason behind the situation. He/she will understand that why this kinds of work based issue arisen at workplace. Find alternative ways to solve the issue- After understand the actual reason behind the situation, in next stage, manager will find out the alternative option to solve this issue. The alternative option and solution must be relevant to the situation and suitable for entire workforce as they can easily understand (Chevallier and et.al.,2012). Minimize interruption- This is another important time management strategy through which employees should not use interruptive things while they working in the company. TASK 3 3.1 Explanation of the role of people play in a team Team working is the best criteria of working within organisation under which all team member works together for accomplishing some specific assignment within a time period. As per the Belbin theory, team have nine roles of individuals that is segregated into three major pasts that isaction oriented, people oriented and thought oriented. In the people oriented, team member must have ability to develop healthy relationship with each other and support each other for accomplishing task. On the other hand according to action oriented, all member must have ability to facing challenges in a team and create some creativity and innovation to accomplish task(Vance, Siponen, and Pahnila, 2012). TASK 4 4.1Evaluation of tools for developing better solution McDonald is a retail food company which have various branches in the world. It have major objective is to deliver high quality of food product and satisfy customer needs and wants. Its entire operation is largely depends upon the employees working and their performance. In the recent time, cited firm is facing the issue of high level employees turn over due to ineffective wages, salary and inappropriate working practices. Thus, many of the personnel’s has been leave the company (Carr, 2014). This thing has directly influence firm profitability and productivity. In ordertosolvethisissue,managerhavemajorrolesandresponsibility.Byuseofhis communication, leadership and motivation skill he/she can easily solve this issue. They provides new innovative idea and creative suggestion to manger for improving more performance of business. With help of motivation reward they can encourage for taking initiative for higher performance and responsibility. Among the workforce competition can increase because each one wants to be recognise and appreciate in front of manager and top management in the corporation.
