INTRODUCTION
Understanding operations refer to the understanding of the operational works of the
company in the working. Logistics and supply management refer to the transportation and the
supply chain methods of the company toward its customer. The Balgores Motor Group is a
leading repair company which gives a wide range of accident repair services and work on the
accidental cars and provide the repair services. The company build a success in commitments to
quality service in the sector and providing the best services to its customer. Logistics are one of
the main factors in the repair sector and the new ideas of the company in home service required
the best of supply chain and logistic. The report will provide the exact strategies and the issues of
the logistic the company can face into the working period of business. The report will help in
understanding the logistics and supply chain management issues, and the delivery issues in the
sector will be explained. The report will explain the importance of the management chain and the
analysis of the supply and logistics in the service sector to its customer. The supply chain and its
importance into the logistic matrix to help the business into better performance in offering of
services.

Operations, logistic and supply chain management
Balgores Motors expand its business by providing services at customer’s place relating to
maintenance and repair of automobile. Management Play significant role in effective
implementation and delivery of services to customer as it effect on quality, efficiency and
productivity of the organization. Customer satisfaction level and profit also rely on such services
time delivery with proper quality (Koberg and Longoni, 2019) Below discuss about new services
development for the customer by Balgores and logistic mix such as Channels, networks,
transportation, managing inventory and capacity role in it.
New Services development and Process:
Balgores focus on home delivery services for UK customers. It decided to repair and
maintenance of cars at cheap rate. Company launch its online portal for advance booking of
services online. It also attracted large number of customer in remote or village side of Britain.
This customer faces problems in services as they have to travel city or nearby places but

company provide service at cheap rate in their own area and hence attract them. Company
divided its team according to work for example service team consist of supervisor, technicians
and labour and on the other hand Supply manager assign task to this team and keep an eye
through GPS. It also attracts large number of investors because of increasing popularity of the
organization. Company provides all possible equipment for servicing of car in organization’s
mobile maintenance vehicle (Bastas and Liyanage, 2018). Various guides and instruction book of
the organization helps in servicing of luxury as well as normal cars. It also provide training to
staff for various vehicle time to time for example electric models servicing is recently introduce
and give equipment according to it. Online or virtual support in remote area for variety of cars
again helps employees in providing better quality services on time
Logistic Mix:
Logistics refer to transfer of material and personnel at various places of the organisation and on
time. It can relate transfer of services from point of origin to point of deliver. Balgores provides
its personnel (Driver, Supervisor, technician, labours) from organization with requirement
equipment and resources. Driver use shortage path to reach the customer’s end on time and
hence increase customer satisfaction level by delivery on time. This personnel use equipment and
resources for repair and maintenance of cars and after servicing back to organization. Company
use trucks which can load all material and workforce required for service. GPS is used by driver
and company to check the services on time. Company also provides information and equipment
demand by customer’s cars. Supply chain manager counts inventory and equipments taken by
team and in the end also count left inventory. Company generally provides 8 to 9 service in a day
by single teams and trying to build a network which can provide services on time. For example
all customers of same or nearby locality will provide same team of maintenance and repair. This
decrease cost of transportation and help to increase quality, efficiency and productivity of the
services (Kain and Verma, 2018).
Operation and Functional Approaches by the company:
There are various operation perform for delivering services at the home of the customer
for example planning & control of the services, Customer demand and priorities, Measuring
Performance. The Balgores Motor Group provides repair and services of cars in customer’s
