INTRODUCTIONIn order to develop and raise standers of self it is important that own analysis is done as this way it is identified that what are the different areas in ourselves which needs to be developed and also those in which we are effective enough. Every person is good in something and needs training for some other in order to be capable of performing different tasks (Baumeister, 2013). In the following study own reflection would be done which will help in identifying four core skills and their relative importance will also be discussed. Thereafter an action will also be provided which can be taken in use in order to learn and develop skills against identified weak points.Part 1Self ReflectionReflective journal is a place where a person can freely express his thoughts on a particular subject. It includes both positive and negative aspects of the matter which helps in analysing the whole scenario. Here I will be writing a self reflection about my core skills thatassist me in performing my work with higher efficiency. REFLECTIVE JOURNAL ENTRY PRO-FORMACore skill – Team workWhen different individuals work together as a group in order to achieve common goals by creating a positive surroundings at work place through providing support to co workers it isknow as team work. In an organisation to work with other it is important that I must have capability to perform my job individually as well as in a team (Baumeister, 2010). A person is said to be good in team if he posses the capabilities of listening, respecting, sharing, helping coordinating and maintaining good connections with others. Goals and objectives of an enterprise are better achieved through team building.Importance of Team workIn the present business world most of the projects are allotted in a group therefore it is the major reason behind why a person must posses the quality of working in a team. If I will have not have this quality than it would be difficult for me to participate in the operations of enterprise and hence this way my management may find me incapable of taking responsibility. Apart from this in every area be it personal or professional people from diverse culture work together under same roof and in order to maintain good connection with them it is necessary that I have all the discussed qualities so that I can also become a part of them. If I will have this skill than I can better communicate with others which is very important as it reduces the physical difference between people. Current competent regarding this skillIn order to show my current competency in team work skills my past performance can be

evaluated where I gave good results to the business. Feedbacks can be taken from my department heads who are well aware about how I behave and coordinate when assigned any task to perform in a team. Contradictions about this skillI am effective enough in working as a team as every time I have been allotted particular project that needs to be completed with a group is done with great effectiveness. My department heads are happy with my performance and the way I help my team members in achieving our ultimate goal. According to them I am a good listener as I respect to what theother person is saying and appropriate their suggestions to the work. But there are situations where members of team in which I perform my work have their different perspective towards particular situation and in that case I find it becomes difficult to manage work together. Conflicts arses as no one wants to understand the view other and hence this way they also question my skills to cooperate with other while working in a group (Brechwald and Prinstein, 2011) . Relevance with further careerAs complexities at work place are continuously increasing due to globalisation management business officials recruit people who has capacity to achieve the organisation goals with group efforts. This way it is important for me to have this particular skill in order to develop in future and enhance my job opportunities. I need to work more on developing this skill so that I can give better performance on projects that are assigned to me to perform in a team. Core skill – Leadership SkillsImportance of LeadershipLeadership is the quality of an individual to get work done through others by providing them effective vision and training. Leaders contribute in the profitability of business and help in establishing good working atmosphere. It is of very much importance as it assist in reducing the total turnover of different employees motivating them and increasing their capacities through planing learning programs for them. According to the demand of situation leaders need to design their behaviours as they have to be innovative and problemsolving in nature. By guiding followers he ensures continuity and growth a the work place. I find it important due to all the above reasons and posses same so that I can also give my maximum contribution towards the growth of business (Cozolino, 2014).
