Introduction
This assignment is about the understanding the process of the learning and different types of
impact of the learning styles of the learning on the individuals and the concepts of different
learning style which was used by the Elma for communicating which the deaf person. Different
strategies are suggested for delivering and accessing the learning in the workplace of health and
care and the factors are considered about the workplace learning programme. It has been
explained about how the organization can support the learning need of the individual of the
workers of health and social care.

Introduction
In the case of 90-year-old Smith, who is suffering from complete lack of hearing ability is taken
into observation to provide with a technique to communicate with other people. There are
various learning abilities through which patients suffering from a partial impairment or complete
incapability can learn to communicate and live an efficient life. Throughout the case study,
Kolb’s learning cycles, theories related to Kolb’s learning, and ways that are to be considered for
learning in health and social care workplaces.

Q3. At what stage of Kolb’s Learning Cycle did Elma start her learning? What did she do in
respect of each of the subsequent stages of the cycle? Using the following questions explain
different ways in which learning can occur in health and social care workplaces.
Elma began learning at humanistic therapy which is made to help the patient develop a better,
healthier knowledge of self while keeping intact the understanding of feelings to gain a sense of
meaning in life. The humanistic way in psychiatrist medication is used as guidance. The theory
is relatively based on enthusiastic nature and emotions of individuals. A councillor in order to
proceed in development and healing of the client creates a mindful, calming atmosphere where
the client will not feel the unreliability. Furthermore, it will provide the client with a sense of
security and self-regard.
With basic nature of the social conduct, the advisor will try to talk and communicate with the
customers about turning and bothering issues. There is a constructive purpose of this treatment
for it presents forth the essentials of human morals and methodologies. The disposition helps
build a strong connective bond between specialist and customer.
The subsequent stage of the cycle
The employees in health and social care sector primarily begin with two connected learning
parts; In participating and commanding their own learning and in helping the learning of others.
The cycle of learning has been categorised into 4 parts of the theory (Kolb, 2014).
Behavioural theory:
Theories that incorporate with authorities that do not look for extreme qualities and capabilities.
The performance of the pioneers is the sole extraction of study. Standard behaviourists perform
solid and dynamic cycled assignments. They will provoke harmful and encouraging fortification.
They are highly imaginative in optimizing the use of fortification through learned methodology.
Cognitive theory:
The hypothesis generally considers the brain and its capacities i.e. focused mind. It creates ideas,
retaining of information, knowledge, and passing it amongst association with them. In this
