INTRODUCTIONMaintaining effective health-care environment is consider as key aspect that supports in well-being and welfare of service users (Martínez-Pérez and et.al., 2012). In order to improve the safety ofresidential homes and improving the health of patients it is essential to create safe and high-qualityenvironment of health care so that it may improve the health of patients in the effective manner.Presently, the report focuses on scenario of 'Seven Kings' residential care home for the elderly patients.There were several complaints by the patients as well as their family member regarding the poorservices that are rendered by the service provider in residential home. Furthermore, the report will alsofocus on assessing the role of healthcare manager in achieving the effectiveness and efficient servicedelivery of care. In addition to this, the report will also highlight the key factors that influences theachievement of quality services and treatment in the residential homes. Furthermore, the report willalso highlight the different perspectives of various stakeholders regarding the quality within health andsocial care. TASKS The role of a healthcare manager in achieving the effectiveness and efficient service delivery of careAs per the case scenario, 'Seven Kings' residential care home mainly deliver care services toelderly patients those who are residing in the care home. In the past, there were several complaintsprovided by service users and family regarding the poor quality of care service and treatment renderedby the staff (Boykoff, Moieni and Subramanian, 2009). Therefore, in order to accomplish theachievement of effective and efficient service delivery of care there are different role played byhealthcare manager. Healthcare managers are often known as executives that lead the HSC activitiesand operations in the effective manner so that other care practitioners can easily deliver health careservices to older age patients. The role of healthcare manager are as follows-Strategic planning- In order to render high care service to the elderly patients those who areresiding in the 'Seven Kings' the key role that health care manager is to strategic plan the healthcare services within the residential home so that care worker can provide proper services tospecific patients within the care home (Zeshan and Mohamad, 2012). Furthermore, its the roleof healthcare manager to create vision for the practices as well as care facilities that areperforming within the care homes. The healthcare manager basically focuses on working withdifferent medical staff and boards to ensure that residential goals are align with the requirementof community as well as care practitioners goals (Munn-Giddings and Winter, 2013). StaffManagement- Another role that healthcare manager within 'Seven Kings' residential carehome plays is related with the managing and oversight the services of care workers anddifferent professional to meet the daily dealings of the healthcare facility (Healthcare3

This is consider as critical role of the healthcaremanager as will engage in taking effective decisions regarding the managing care workers tothe different diseases patients. Managerial role- Another role that healthcare manager plays within residential home is relatedwith managing the administrative as well as care worker staff so that they can render properservices to each and every patients. Under managerial role healthcare manager must alsomanage and administered the medication stock so that they can overcome the medication errorwithin the HSC setting (Kim, Kim and Eom, 2013). Further, the role of healthcare manager isalso to take care regarding the medical equipment as well as repairing the physical facilities sothat they can render effective quality care to patients. Formulating procedures within the residential care home- Its the duty of Healthcare managerof care home to focus on devising the procedures and strategies related with dealing withdifferent patients. As, residential home mainly focuses on serving the elder patients therefore, inorder to render effective and efficient service delivery of care to different patients healthcaremanager plays an effective role in formulating and implementing the effective procedureswithin the residential care home so that they can render quality services to elderly patients(Pretty and et.al., 2012). Departmental coordination- Another role of healthcare manager within the residential carehome is to coordinate the departmental activities and operations so that they can render qualityservice according to the requirement of patients. For instance; 'Seven Kings' residential carehome mainly deliver services to elderly patients thus, healthcare manager must focuses oncoordinating the division activities so that in case of any emergency they can provide emergentor urgent care services to the patients (Nagy and et.al., 2010). Thus, coordinating thedepartmental activities results in achieving the effectiveness and efficient delivery of careservices to different disease patients. Define the term stakeholders and analyse the perspectives that different stakeholders in HSCStakeholder can be defined as the important aspects of the organization through which they canaffect or can be influenced by the business's operations, its objectives and the policies. The stakeholderhas an interest in the company and this is because to maximize the profitability and market share of thebusiness enterprise. There are different types of stakeholders and the various stakeholders in Healthand social care are as follows: Governing Body: Here, the governing body is Care Quality Commission (CQC) which checks,inspects and monitor the health care home, residents without informing them.
