INTRODUCTON
Employee relation is one of the most important part of an organization that is helpful in
connecting over an organization. An organization having positive employee relation is always
accomplish its task with goals and objectives. Also it promotes less chances of getting into
conflict which leads towards sustainable development in an organization. In this assignment the
organization that is been taken is Marks & Spencer that is an UK based multi national retailer
that sells specialised home products, food items and cloth. It has headquarter in Westminster,
London and has been formed by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in the year 1884. in this
report things that has to be covered is based on importance and value of employee relation. Also
fundamentals of employment law is going to cover. Further rights, duties and obligation of
employee & employer. Then advice is going to be given in relation to duties and obligation with
right of employment relationship. In the end stakeholder analysis is being done with an impact
over relation of employee.

P1. Analyse the value and importance of employee relations in application to specific
organisational examples.
Employee relation means the important things that is being used for managing of
relationship with employer and employee. An organization that posses good employee relation
and conducts program for this. Also fair treatment is being given to employees which makes
them performer in consistence manner and helps them achieving of desired outcome. It becomes
duty of HR manger of M&S to create relation with employees and improving them. Various
values has been discussed in relation to M&S has been explained as follows:
Value of employee relation
Positive relationship has to be there with the employees because it promotes balance
within workplace. This makes enhancement in the employee involvement within the that results
into gaining of desire results out of an task to be accomplished. M&S is required to adopt such
principals that should cover various aspects like equity, justice and fairness towards all
employees working in this organization. Robust relation leads towards increasing of
professionalism with humanity at place of work. Also satisfaction of employees should be at

priority that helps M&S to uplift sales and generate revenue. An compact environment makes
employee feel discouraged and also give rise to negative impact. Positive relationship between
the employer and employees has benefit over increasing productivity of the firm.
Importance of employee relation
All individual in an organization should share a kind of relationship with staff members
that makes spending controlled and helps in gaining of higher profit. It is very important to
employee over understanding and then sharing ideas with each other. This can be achieved only
when there is stability within the relationship that exist between employer and employee. In
order to achieve goals and objectives it is important form the employees to achieve this for
workers working in M&S in order to gain balance within the workplace. Certain importance of
Robust relation has been explained as follows in context of M&S:
There are certain issues that is related to workplace upon which an group discussion is
required and no single individual can take any kind of decision. In order to make a task
done advice of employees is required that is going to be helpful in conducting of business
operations. When ideas are shared an opinion of member is going to make task
achievable in faster and easy manner. This can be understood through example that is
manger of M&S has to take opinion of the members staff and is going to regard training
and development program. All the negative and positive has to be discussed regarding
decision to be made before officially making it legal. It makes chances of adopting of
right decisions and tactics. Relationship between employer and employee is not good
then it is going to lead towards loss of revenue and shares in market (Lee, and Kim,
2016).
Business activities ans operations should be easy if required to be shared with the staff
members. Health of the employees is related to increasing of productivity. In reactional to
M&S that project manger of an organization is working over an project then he I
required to divide responsibility over various members within the team. This is going to
make task achievable. If relation between manager and employees are not good,
employees will not be able to deliver their best performance. Good relation among
manager and workers will assist in performing business operation appropriately.
