INTRODUCTION
Employer relationship is the relationship which is shared between the employees and the
employers. But, this relationship is basically dependent on the work environment and the work
culture which exists in the companies(Kremp and Morgenroth, 2018). Good employ relationship
will result in achievement of objectives of the company. Organizations also try to maintain
positive and healthy working environment so that employees remain loyal and are engaged in the
work properly. But sometimes conflicts might occur between the employees so at that point of
time it is the duty of team leader or the superior to remove that conflict. Tesco plc works in
groceries and general merchandise and is a third largest retailer compared to that of revenue. It
was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England, UK.
This report will cover the value and importance of employee relation including the fundamentals
of employment law. It will also cover different types of rights, duties and obligations an
employee and employer has within the workplace with the advice, duties and obligations of the
employment relationship and evaluate the psychological contract relating to rights and support of
employee work life balance. In addition with this, stakeholder analysis and their engagement and
contribution including the negative and positive impact of employee relations on stakeholders.

TASK 1
Explain the value and importance of employee relationship in the organisation and also explain
the fundamentals of employment law with the suggestions on how an organisation could improve
and respond to employee relations
Development of the employee relation will lead to healthy and mutual relationship between
the employees which will result in effective achievement of goals of the organisation(Chrusciel,
2020). The value and importance of employee relations has been explained in context with Tesco
plc-
Employee loyalty- When the work culture of the company is friendly and has good
relations with the top management then the employees also works in loyalty with the
organisations. When the work culture is good and adaptable then no employee will think
of changing their job. Tesco has always tried to develop effective work culture so that
people don’t think of changing their job.
