INTRODUCTION
The term diversity can be defined as a dimension which is used to represent differentiate
groups and people from each other. In an outer layer, diversity can be defined about empowering
individuals through appreciating and respecting aspects which show difference in each other in
terms of age, religion, disability and national origin. Inclusive workforce refers to provide similar
work roles as per their skills to match and offer them similar opportunities in market. This report
is written from perspective of Tesco which is operating their business in retail industry. It is a
multi-national organisation which engages large number of individuals for completing its work
in proper manner by controlling large number of operations (Wu, Chen and Olson, 2014).
Moreover, report highlights on objectives and aims of organisation related with workforce
diversity. Along with this Gantt chart and WBS will also be formulated in this report. In the last,
methods of research and analysis of data will be focused in this report.
TASK1
P1 Aim and objectives of organisation
With the increase in competition within retail industry it is analysed that there are various
task and operations are analysed by management that leads to earn more amount of profits.
Therefore, to increase sales and revenue for firm it is mandatory to increase market size. It refers
retail industry and organisation such as Tesco is managing its business with motive of
completing its operations in international market (Too and Weaver, 2014). So they require
effective strategy which helps to control and manage workforce that is engaged in international
organisation.

Aim- “To determine the strategies and initiatives which can help an organisation in developing
an inclusive and diverse workforce.” A case study on Tesco plc.
Objective
To formulate and develop knowledge about inclusive and diverse workforce.
To determine and focus on all strategies and initiatives which is implement by Tesco for
improvement of engaged employees and workforce.
To identify and analyse benefits which are required by workforce of organisation.
Research question
What is the meaning of inclusive workforce in an organisation?
Which strategies and initiative are required by organisation for creating an inclusive and
diverse workforce?
Literature review
Inclusive workforce of an organisation
According to Geneva, 2015 Inclusive workforce of an organisation determines that large
number of individual are differ in religion, gender, race and many more. This is essential for an
organisation as by build an inclusive working environment which is created by organisation must
provide similar possibilities in market so all employees feel similar value. It helps for increasing
employee engagement in an organisation that leads to complete all task in more creative way.
Innovation also helps individuals for formulating inclusive working environment that also
provides more value in organisation products through reducing employment turnover (Titarenko,
Titov and Titarenko, 2014).
Strategy to generate inclusive and diverse workforce
From the perspective of Nisha Nair, 2015 there are different ways are exists in
organisation that is used to build an inclusive as well as diverse workforce. This provides
different benefits to organisation which is used to accomplish all objectives in effective manner.
Training and development programs also help management for improving skills of employees
that leads to accomplish organisation goals and objectives in minimum time period (Thamhain,
2014). Moreover, employee engagement is also increased by help of participative leadership
style so employees are also able to participative for decision making in organisation.
Advantages related with inclusive and diverse workforce

As per opinion of N Vohra, 2015 as per era of globalisation companies and organisation
are generating more efforts for building an inclusive and diverse workforce. So people and
individuals are able to implement new thoughts, skills and talent that is hired by organisation. It
helps organisation in various ways that is to increase in number of innovation, creativity in
management due to which products and services process is improved because motivated
employees generates better results. It helps to generate better and strong image in market.

Scope- The term scope consists of all phases which are required by specific goals as they are
broad in size. An effective list for all aspects such as function, cost, deliverable etc. are included
in project. So that all action which are performed to complete project must leads to accomplish
scope in organisation (Stettina and Hörz, 2015). Researcher also determines project scope so that
essential action as per opportunity or scope present in market.
Communication- With implement of phone calls, message and emails it is easy to communicate
with respondents to collect right information. Along with this internet method such as group
chats to gather data at a similar place is also used for effective communication. This relates with
using devices that helps to complete work that is used for managing to complete work in right
manner. Moreover, there are various task and operations is used that demonstrate for completing
its work by managing desired outcomes through transferring meaningful information in effective
manner.
Resources- With arrangement of all essential resources it is used to complete work as per
strategy that is used for carrying project and leads them to complete work. With this internet,
laptop, human and team-mates which is beneficial for completing all task and operations that is

used to interpret meaningful results from the report.
Quality- KPI and quality control chart are most effective method that is used to complete
research properly and ensure that information or data which is used are authentic and reliable for
research. This relates with quality aspects which is used by management to achieve after
completion of project. Along with this it relates with quality of data that is collect at time of
research. From point view of researcher quality aspects is implemented through right form of
research and information.
Cost- Total amount that is required for complete of project by the researcher is an amount of 100
pounds. This all are required at time of managing task such as travelling expenses, collection of
resources and other fixed charges such as printing etc. So it results overall cost is calculated and
develop a budget for proper analysis of cost.
Time- This refers to analyse and calculate all time activities which is undertakes by researcher
for completing project in an effective manner. In order to complete research in an organised
manner time required by investigator is of 8 weeks for recognise of all task and complete them as
priority. Along with this it is also important to determine all phase are completed within accurate
and organised way. It results there is no delay for complete of research project (Gatsi, 2016).
Investigator decided to generate better and relevant results from research by completing it period
of two weeks.
Risk- The term risk refers to an aspect that is used for managing contingencies which occur at
time of carrying out different projects that impact on quality of project. This aspect also leads to
stoppage of organisational actions. It also helps to complete project in desired manner which is
beneficial for accomplishing high quality results. At time of workforce strategy less interest of
respondents generates problems for completing the project in effective manner.
P3 Work-break down structure and Gantt chart
Gantt chart- This refers to chart which define time for complete of each activity which is
assigned for accomplishing all objectives in time manner. Moreover, it includes efforts for each
organisational employee that is implemented by individual to gain better achievements in project
(Silvius, 2018). It is also used by researcher to recognise effectiveness for each project and due
to these teammates is able to allocate all activities as per their time period. Along with this it is
also important for implement adequate information to provide adequate information for entire
project.
