How do multinational companies improve the recruitment, selection and training of their
employees to meet international requirements.
2INTRODUCTION
Human resource management is a function within organisation that emphasize mainly on
hiring and selecting employees as well as managing the workforce in the company. When
organization moves or expand there operations in other nations, there is a significant impact of
globalization on human resource functions of the company (Perlmutter, 2017). The primary
function of HRM is to hire candidates by following the strategic process. Further, training and
development is one of the most essential function nowadays. Organization are spending huge
amount in organizing training to employees to keep them updated. Moreover, human resource
management also plays the role of professional development, compensations and benefits,
performance appraisals and ensuring legal compliance.
In this current research, Cadbury is being chosen for assessment. Cadbury is operating in
confectionery industry as it was founded in the year of 1824 in England. John Cadbury was the
founder of the company. For this presented study, Researcher will make an effective use of
various tools and techniques to identify the ways to improve the recruitment, selection and
training of their employees to meet international requirements.

P.1 Project Aims and Objectives
Aim:
“To identify the ways to improve the recruitment, selection and training of their
employees to meet international requirements. A study on Cadbury”.
The project aim is to identify the ways to bring improvement in remitment, selection and training
of employees so that they can able to meet the international requirements. It is very important
that human resource management of the company should meet the international standards to
keep this competitive. Recruitment, selection and training is important for achieving competitive
advantages in the global market.
Objectives:
To comprehend the importance of recruitment, selection and training of employees in
meeting international requirements.

To determine effectiveness of coaching and on the job training method to meet
international standard.
To evaluate impacts of no discrimination on business.
To provide recommendations for bringing improvement in recruitment, selection and
training of employees within Cadbury.
P.2 Project Management Plan
Project management plan is a formal document that is used to describe essential elements
of the research (Heldman, 2018). Researcher prepare project management pan before starting the
research. In this present research, researcher has undertaken following elements:
PMP
Scope The range where the research can be used is called as scope. The
scope of this project is both in corporate and academic sector. In
corporate sectors, this research can be used by Cadbury and other
organizations to identify the ways to improve the recruitment,
selection and training meeting international requirements (Papke-
Shields and Boyer-Wright, 2017). On the other side, this research
can be used by students, teachers as they can understand the
complete structure of managing successful, business project as
well as they also gain knowledge and understanding of topic.
Cost The total amount carried for conducting the research is called as
cost. Approximate £100 to conduct and performing all activities
of recruitment, selection and training at Cadbury. Cost of the
research will be approximately £60 and for launching shoe will
be £40.
Quality It is very important for research to undertake the concern of quality
For maintaining quality, the company will make an effective use of
benchmarking & researcher will use KPI to identify the variations.
Time Time is an important aspect of the research so that outcomes of the
research cannot be affected. For completing this research, scholar
will take approximate 61 days. Further, in the perspective of

project, Cadbury will take around 2 months (Heagney, 2016).
Resources Resources also plays an important role. Researcher needs to make
a plan about resources as how many and which type of resources
he/she will require to complete the research. For this research,
scholar will use human resources, technical tools, laptop, internet
etc.
Communication To communicate with all members involved in the research
directly or indirectly, selection of communication tool is an
important task. To identify that which communication tool can
help researcher in getting contact with people is also the difficult
task. For this research, scholar will make an effective use of E-
mail.
Risk There are several types of risks may occur while conducting
research, so it is important for scholar to analyse and make lists of
risks that can have negative impacts on it. Changes in weather,
flood, lack of technical staff, lack of financial sources are some
types of risks. For measuring risks, researcher will use KPI tool.
P.3 Work breakdown Structure and Gantt chart
Gantt Chart is a time frame which is used to describe how the project or research will be
carried out. It is used for scheduling and planning the research.

Help to assess the time of project.
Help in determining the resources required.
Help to determine the deadlines of activities.
