P1 Project aims and objectives
Globalisation defined as integration and interaction among the people, firms and legal
authorities of differed nations (Globalization Benefits and Challenges, 2019.). This is defined as
growing and expanding, business services and also helps to bring longer productivity and
profitability. Additionally, it defined as globalized countries that have lower increment in
government outlays and taxes and this leads to lower level of corruption. Employees are the
main pillars of an organisation. This is because they perform activities and attain goals and
objectives.
Also, diversified workforce works in an organisation. They belong to different caste,
creed, colour, etc. Besides this, it is necessary to recruit right person at right place. This is
possible when selection and recruitment procedure is effective (Beck 2018). Moreover, training
should be also given efficiently to employees so that they are able to learn and gain skills and
knowledge. In present context with change in policies and laws there has been a great impact on
organisational culture. Alongside it, with expansion of companies in different countries there is
change in their needs. It has forced businesses to make improvements in their selection methods.
However, there is change in training as well. It is because of technological advancement.
Now, companies are able to recruit more qualified candidate easily. It has enabled in
developing diversified work force. Furthermore, it has to be ensured that employees are not
harassed. Firms have to follow beliefs, ethics, etc. of different religion, culture, it has become
essential to develop people so that there is proper HRM. The proper following of selection and
recruitment method restricts any discrimination.
Aim- To access the improvements required in recruitment, selection and training methods for
employees at global level. A study on Nestle.
Objective
To assess current procedure of recruitment, selection and training of employees
To identify measure to improve recruitment, selection and training methods within
Nestle.
To recommend strategies that can be implemented by companies at global level.

Research question
What are the current methods of recruitment, selection and training of employees?
What changes drive firms to improve their methods?
What strategies can be implemented by Nestle to meet their international needs?
P2 Project management plan that covers various aspects
In order to conduct research, there are different components required. So, on basis of it
resources are allocated (Pieterse, 2018). Also, scholar gets an insight about it and study is
conducted in smooth way. The components are described below: -
Cost – this is an essential component that enables in allocation of resources. Cost is required to
travel, stationary items, etc. increase in cost also results in increasing time of study. For this
research total cost required will be approx £100.
Time –It is also crucial element as it provides an estimation of time in which research will be
completed. The schedule is developed, and roles are assigned (Pieterse, 2019). The present
research will be completed within 7 weeks.
Scope – this study will show what strategies and measures can be followed in recruiting and
selecting candidates. Also, what policies can be formed and implemented in it and how needs are
fulfilled.
Quality – It is necessary for researcher to maintain quality of data so that effective outcomes are
generated. Also, it helps in securing of data and information. So, the quality of data will be
maintained by setting standards.
Communication – An effective communication is required to conduct study. For this e mail will
be used in formal communication (Papastergiadis, 2018)
Risk – The risk assessment will be conducted to identify risk. Then, accordingly proper
measures will be taken to mitigate it.
Resources- There are some resources required like human resource, software, server, etc. in
research. Thus, better and efficient resources aid to bring systematic working within the
enterprise.

P4 Small research by using qualitative and quantitative method
To conduct a research there are different methods used. It helps in gathering relevant data
and attaining aims and objectives. Research methodology provides a framework of various
method used. They are discussed as follows –:
Research philosophy: It is the framework of entire research. It shows how overall study is been
conducted and purpose of research (Crane, Kawashima and Kawasaki, 2016). There are different
philosophies available that can be used such as positivism, interpretivism, realism, etc.
Pragmatism uses concepts to develop knowledge about it. However, in interpretivism
quantitative data is evaluated which is based on topic. Positivism philosophy is used to find out
how MNC are working at glob level to fulfill their needs.
Research design: It is comprised of various components. It is a strategy implemented by scholar
to integrate different elements of research in valid and articulate method (Smith, 2018).
Exploratory, descriptive, etc. are different design. It depends on scholar willingness that which
design is to be used. Descriptive design is used to as it will enable in analysing in depth about
how MNC are capable of meeting their needs at global level.
Research type: - It depends on nature of study and there are two types of it that is qualitative
and quantitative. In qualitative in-depth study is done to get more knowledge and information of
topic. It is used to collect theoretical data by analyzing opinions, views, etc. of other authors
whereas in quantitative facts and figures are analyzed and evaluated (Crane, Kawashima and
