Topic : ‘How do multinational companies improve the recruitment, selection and
training of their employees to meet International requirements?’ A case study on Nestle.
INTRODUCTION
Recruitment & Selection is the process of hiring right people for the organization. In this
context, International companies plays a most important role to hire candidates from different
places. job Basically, the two common approaches taken by the international companies are
domestic based philosophy which is implemented by the home market employees to lead and
manage offices in other countries. Present research will outline the important aspect of
international companies and methods & approaches of Training & Development. Besides, study
will analyse the research methods and techniques such as qualitative and quantitative, that helps
to support the overall research material into deep perceptive mode.
Nestle is the largest food company in the world in terms of revenue, Nestle is the Swiss
company which established in 1866 by its founder Henri Nestle. Company is known for its good
food and beverages to its customers in a wide category of choices.

P1 Devise a project aims and objectives
Background
Nestle is multinational corporation which is also very popular in food industry. The
company comprised by many nationalities, religions and ethnic background that working
together (Abraham and et.al., 2015). For Nestle, people development is the driving force of the
policy. Nestle company policies has includes non-discrimination, the right of collective
bargaining as the good performing system and managing work goals. The main purpose of the
study is to explore the importance of international company in recruitment & selection in order
to meet out the leading outcomes and opportunity and task. International organization understand
that trained employees are the valuable assets for the companies that maintained the positive and
productive environment within the work place environment (Dany and Torchy, 2017).
Aims : “To examine the role of international companies in improving the recruitment, selection
and training of their employees to meet international requirements” A case study on Nestle.

To identify the importance of International companies in raising the recruitment and
selection of the employees.
To investigate the methods and approaches of T&D Nestle adopts to meet their employee
needs.
To determine the challenges & issues that international corporation faced in recruitment
and selection.
To recommend the ways and strategies should Nestle adopts for improving the
recruitment & selection and training criteria.

P2 Produce a Project management plan cost, scope, time, quality, communication, risk and

Scope : Project management is process which consists some essential elements that
describe the study into more detailed manner (Meredith and et.al., 2017). Scope is one of the
vital element of PM that define the importance of project aim. The scope also defines the future
value of the research topic. Such as in future the need of globalization has been increase in
recruitment & selection process.
Resources : Resource is the another essential element in research that helps to obtained
the system management. Without having the enough resources' researcher can not meet the
project objectives. Required resources are human resource, financial resource, research
techniques etc.
Communication : Communication plan is must be prepared by the investigator to get the
continuous feedback from the team members (Kerzner, 2017). Build a communication between
team-mates is very much essential for the research out goals. For example : In present rsearch

Quality : Quality is the another essential element of the study that explored and increases
the possibilities of better success. For example : Research quality is define
Cost : Cost budget has been estimated for each and every activity. It has already been
undertaking to meet out the different aspect of the business that explores the different
development results. Present study estimated cost is £450 (Newton, 2016).
Risk : Risk possibilities have mainly present in each and every aspect of the research
process. Researcher needs to abide all laws and regulations to prevent the research from
uncertainties (Harris Aand et.al., 2018). For example : For the present research possible risk are
ethical uncertainties, uncertainty in rules and regulations.
Time: Time is the another component that shows the actual deadline of the study. Present
research will be completed within 4-5 weeks.
P3 Produce a work breakdown structure & Gantt Chart,
Gantt Chart : Gantt chart is the mathematical tool that generates the systematic process
of outcomes that lead the goals and objectives. Besides, Gantt Chart is providing the visual
communication presentation of the study that helps to measure the plan and coordinate risk and
specific task in the mentioned task. Present Gantt chart defines the process or the things makes
different opportunity and gain researcher needs to be followed throughout the process.
Work break down Structure : Work break down structure is a key project deliverable
that organizes the team into more appropriate manner. In order to get achieve the aims and
objectives. WBS helpful to divides tasks into smaller parts, in order to accomplish the research
tasks.
