INTRODUCTION
The hospitality industry mainly accounts for the field in the service industry
which involves the lodging, food and beverages, events and so forth. The hospitality
industry is UK contributes nearly £218 billion to the economy in the year 2018. The
accommodation services are known for the availing services for the short period of time.
It is considered as the most essential part of the hospitality industry as it works on
offering services that makes the customers feel comfort and convenience. The
accommodation industry grew by 37.5% over the past 10 years. The Sunborn London is
a new breed of the yacht hotel offering elegant accommodation services and other
facilities. This report will help in drawing some knowledge and understanding about the
various types of accommodation facilities which is being provided within hospitality
sector along with making a discussion on the role of Front Office department pertaining
to the hotel. It also covers the contribution of the housekeeping department within the
accommodation services and in addition to this, presents the facilities and securities of
accommodation services.

Organisation of front office functions within a variety of accommodation services
The front office is that part of an organization that interacts with customers, for
example, the marketing, sales, and administration divisions. The front office division is
the most noticeable office in a hotel (Wessels, du Plessis and Slabbert, 2017). Front
office division assumes a significant part in working of a hotel. Front office staff handles
the exchanges between the organization and its visitors. The staff gets the visitors,
handles their solicitations, and strikes the first impression about the lodging into their
mind. The various functions of front office pertaining to different accommodation
services are given below.
